You've established lots of "not interested" parameters, but a large
percentage of my "Boardwalk" stories avoid them, at:

Your request reminded me of an OLD fanfic (and the only one I ever
posted) that I wrote somewhere in 97... The only criterion it doesn't
meet is the lack of Anne. I didn't like her either, but she was who we
had at the time I wrote it. Rather than dismissing her, I tried to show
her the way Duncan would have loved her (I really think it was the
actress that did her character the most disservice), but I also tried
to keep her presence to a minimum.

Regardless, the story is not about Anne, but the question of whether
Immortals could get sick. This was my take...

(Please excuse any spelling mistakes (I only caught one while rereading
it tonight) and if you, or anyone else decides to read it, I'd love
      some feedback.)

      Enjoy!

PS I probably should post it to HLFIC-L, but the request was posted
here and I haven't seen a post there in AGES.
