I saw that acoming when I posted that LOL....btw 'it'
meant the ep, not the scene...not that it matters. My
only comment is that if another argument erupts I'm
staying out of it for the most part like last time.
I'd rather agree to disagree because I'm not the
arguing type. So, no repeats of before, pretty please?
I don't want to open any more cans of worms. It was
just an offhand comment, that was all.

      Subject: Season 1 DVDs??

      Hey folks!!

I'm thinking of breaking down and starting to collect Highlander on DVD. My
question is: Are there any "special" sets out there like the Season 2 Best Buy
deal, or are all the Anchor Bay sets out there pretty much the same??

Thanks for any help you can give me,

One more Deliverance rant, or rather a TNN rant. I
didn't like them completely editing out Rachael
yesterday because then you wonder what she's doing
there in today's ep. I knew what happened from reading
a couply synopses, but if I hadn't, I'd have been
      confused.

Maybe I'll go down to my local Best Buy by August 13. I have a "$5 off
anything" promotional coupon which expires at that time. I know if I don't
use it, I'll wish I did on August 14.

It wasn't TNN's fault. That is the way it was originally edited for American TV. The "tag" with Rachel on the barge was (and is) a "Eurominute"

No, it's silvery plastic with a very dark plastic center that has a
hologram (I think) of something Highlander-ish, but I can only see the image
if I'm looking almost straight down at it vertically. Not one of DPP's
      better ideas.

Come on, you know you are going to shell out the $5.95 for the little display plaque to put the medallion in and to get the free "special edition" first season medallion, too. All the really dedicated and cool fans will have one.

I really liked this one...definately worthy of being
in the top 10 BoH book. It was suspenseful, funny and
sad all at the same time. I thought PW did some really
good acting, quite convincing. I really felt sorry for
Methos. At the same time, it was funny watching him
chase that cat around. I'm also beginning to
appreciate Duncan and Amanda's comic timing,
      line-wise.

Hm....the stone didn't seem to do Geiger much good
when it was together...wonder just what power, if any,
      it *does* have.

The only thing I didn't like: Blonde Amanda. I know
why she did it but I still say lose the Raven look and
go back to the black hair. Did she go back or did she
keep the white look afterward? If she was doing it to
avoid detection I wonder why she went back to it in
      HL:TR.

Mel, who wouldn't want Duncan's insurance premiums on
that boat if mishaps like these recent ones happen
      often...good thing he's loaded methinks.
