Once you've looked at them both, I'd be interested to know if there is any
difference in picture or sound quality between the 2 sets. And, if one set
has any "extra" goodies like AP commentary (or gratuitous butt shots).

If I decide to go for these, I'll probably grab a set off ebay a bit down
the road, & it would help to know whether to look for purple or aqua.

There is a post on Holyground forum right now in the discussion on the DVD's
that details the differences [someone got two sets] This is the url to that
post, BUT a reminder, posts only stay on that board about three days then they
      are history.

This URL leads to someone reposting my post with the wrong source and without
asking/telling me. Interesting choice. I like to know where my words go so if
I said something wrong or someone misinterprets something I can correct it.

Leah reposted it over there. And, of course, her doing so is against list
      rules.

I would think most people feel the same way about their words & about their
intellectual property of all types. Including the owners of HL, Stargate,
etc. Since, as I recall, you recently argued that distributed fanfic is
fine & dandy, how exactly is Leah circulating your post w/o permission &
against the governing rules any different? Because it is yours?

AP is in Las Vegas hawking the (second) T-Bird that DPP is using to lure
folks to buy the S2 DVD set. (T-Bird #1 was auctioned at the 1998 con for
      $61,000.)

fanfic- transformative use. original additions. Totally different case.
AND I didnt say it was wrong. I pointed out I'd rather she didnt do it.
and and I really, really wish you could talk about anything ever without
      mentioning the frelling f word.

      Well, clearly it was wrong.

You said you were worried about your meaning being changed w/o your knowing
it or being able to correct it. Fanfic does that rather blatantly to the
original fictional universes being ripped off. But, it's fun & people like
      it, so....

Still, I really, really wish people would be consistent about things.

I saw a commercial for this the other night on AMC (during a showing of
      HL-I). I had been under the impression that the T-Bird was a 1965 10th
anniversary edition not a 1964, or is this like so many car things where it
was made in 1964 but is a 1965 model year? Or is this the same kind of
typo like the back of the box for HL-III that said "John MacLeod"?

Edition--the first T-Birds were 1955 models (released in late '54)."
