Yeah--the world is an evil & random place. Filled w/ _millions_ of eps of
Friends & its clones--plus The Osbornes, Bachsluts of all genders, & people
happily eating real bugs, bile & much worse on camera. But, yes--Tracker is
doing well on Sci Fi. Of course, they are actually promoting it & showing
it at a decent time--far more than it got on its 1st run. But, the eps
themselves are still sadly single-faceted. Maybe that's why more people are
watching it than Farscape, which has countless facets & layers & dark scary
places & gooey stuff just oozing out all over.... Current TV trends don't
really support a positive view of the human condition.

>>>With TRACKER garnering ratings higher than first-run episodes of
FARSCAPE, I would be very surprised if they didn't dust off the option to
air HL:TS reruns at a good hour in the evening.>>>
I doubt Sci Fi will make the connection from Tracker to HL. Seems more
likely they'll just grab one or 2 of the other junky genre shows Lion's Gate
has done. Like Relic Hunter, etc. Not that they care, but HL isn't
"sci-fi" any more than John Edwards & that new dream show. More
importantly, if Sci Fi's viewers aren't watching Farscape in enough droves,
then I don't know that HL (though of course far cheaper than Farscape) would
be a huge success by the numbers. Some though WAS required w/ HL--not as
much as w/ Farscape but quite a bit compared to Tracker. Raven is probably
about right for Sci Fi, though.

Hey List Mom's and Debra,
I have to take James to the shop. I think I have a power supply fan
going out. I am going to see if Wizbones can get it fixed today, but he
is getting so well know..........
Hopefully he can get it fixed to day. Ladies I will let you know when I
am back up. Yahoo groups still don't like me and I can't go no mail there.
Debra I forgot how to go no mail on Highla-l
You're help w/ this is very appreciated.
Thank you,
Danni Butterfuss

I've seen only one ep of Tracker, and was reminded of Starman, as someone
else commented. But it is better then Survivor or The Bachelor, neither of
which I can bring myself to watch. And Adrian is still good looking. Gerant
wasn't in the ep I saw, so I can't comment about him, although I liked him on
Forever Knight. I had a bit of trouble following the plot through the first
half hour, but I think that was because it took me that long to figure out
what was going on, what the premise of the story is. I do plan to watch
again this week and see how another ep stikes me.

hi all,
Ma Wombat here for all you old-timers ...
I saw about two seconds of Tracker and then fell asleep. It might have had
more to do with lack of proper hibernation but hey, take it as you will.
I was re-watching some episodes of Strange World a while ago and was
drooling over Merthos' enigmatic appearances when what should appear on tv
but something called "The Wedding Dress" where our PW appears even better
looking then he was on HL! Quel etranger.
anyway, how's the list doing? Still kicking?

Jason Connery is on Smallville!
He's playing a creep. ::: sniffle ::: The only resemblance to
Robert of Huntingdon is his voice.
ZK (Adrian Paul played the Highlander)(Jason Connery played Robin
Hood II - Robert of Huntingdon)(Robert's uncle was King of
Scotland)(The Highlander is from Scotland)(Jason is Sean's

Seems to me I just saw Eric Keenleyside in a dingy bar in Smallville.

OK, after about 7 minutes of outright laughter, I have finally calmed down.
This is hysterical! Thanks for the tip, I think I'll try it in the future.
>> a.t.: Hi. I'm calling to let you know how you can save money on long

Hmm, I like this one too. Any copyright on these I should know about <bg>?

I was wondering why the HL store hadn't contacted me, since I, too, own all
the videos. Now that I think about it, I guess they might have. My theory
of dealing with telemarketers so that it takes up almost none of my time has
been:
Me: :::pick up the phone::: "Hello?"
Telemarketer: :::no immediate answer while whatever computer it is tries to
connect me with an actual person::::
Me: "Goodbye and please don't call me again."
Honestly, I'd say that 99% of the calls never put me through to a person fast
enough for my liking and I never actually speak to anyone. It doesn't help
much but at least I don't get caught up in the "should I be incredibly rude?"
notion.
I do find it rather interesting about the HL Store, though. Not interesting
enough to actually take the call, but still interesting :-).
