      > else commented. But it is better then Survivor or The Bachelor

I agree, but talk about faint praise.... Tracker was just one of oh so many
      HL-related crushingly nonsensical disappointments post-HL:TS.

      > And Adrian is still good looking.

Well, there you go. But, he DOES seem to dress far better on-screen than at
certain photo-op oriented/publicized "events." Some shirts should just go
up in flames as the store tags are removed, to protect innocent bystanders
from witnessing any actual wearing of them. (Surely those Italian aunts
      aren't really to blame???)

      > Gerant wasn't in the ep I saw

That was usually the case. I don't know if he was sadly under-utilized,
over-busy, or perhaps had 2nd thoughts about the project & pulled back as
much as possible. But, for someone so touted re: the show, he was oddly
      absent.

      >>> I had a bit of trouble following the plot through the first
half hour, but I think that was because it took me that long to figure out
what was going on, what the premise of the story is. >>>

That was typical of the whole year, I think--for cast & crew, as well as for
      fans.

      >I do plan to watch
      >again this week and see how another ep stikes me.

Good luck w/ that. Stick around for Farscape, too--it's a blast.

      > looking then he was on HL! Quel etranger.

I never bothered watching this, probably because it's a "very special
Hallmark film" or some such predictable drivel. But, if PW actually WEARS
the wedding dress, I'll make a note to tune in next time.

      > anyway, how's the list doing? Still kicking?

I love twitting telemarketers, it's one of my favorite forms of
entertainment. Just last night I had *this* lovely conversation...

      TM: Is this the homeowner?

ME: No, this is Detective Smith.

TM: May I speak with homeowner?

ME: I'm afraid she's... (I muffle the phone, turn slightly away and deepen
my voice.) You finished logging all those body parts yet? Good. Don't forget
the ax. (Shifting back to the telemarketer, who is no doubt quaking in her
chair.) Sorry, ma'am, but I'm going to have to ask you a few questions. Have
you, or anyone you know, previously called this residence?"

TM: Uh... Uh... No! Have a nice day. (Click.)

The HL Store got a really good one. "Yes, I'm always interested in
Highlander products. I just loved the katana -- although I don't think my
late husband did. And I do have one complaint about the quality of that
particular item. Damn thing just wouldn't take a decent edge. You know, it
really shouldn't take *twelve* swings to cut off a head. I had to resort to
      sawing!"

Needless to say, they have never called again.

      Ecolea

I seized the day -- and it screamed.

      Leah--
      >>> With TRACKER garnering ratings higher than first-run episodes of
FARSCAPE, I would be very surprised if they didn't dust off the option to
air HL:TS reruns at a good hour in the evening. Tracker was meant to be a
filler until the new TREMORS series finishes its tardy special effects. I
don't think they were expecting it to do so well, and I'm betting Bonnie
      Hammer is paying attention.>>>

Here's the Sci Fi ratings info from last Friday, as reported on the FS
      board--
      7PM Dead Zone: 0.7
      8PM Farscape: 1.3
      9PM Stargate: 1.9
      10PM Tracker: 1.4
      11PM Dream Team: 0.4
      11:30PM Stargate: 0.6
      12:30AM Farscape 0.6

Surely the timeslots have a lot to do w/ how SG-1, FS & Tracker are doing,
relatively. Here in Hawaii, Sci Fi's line-up airs 2 hours earlier than
      shown above, so ....

Also, in a TVGuide Online article, Bonnie Hammer blathers on about
re-creating the space opera--or butchering Battlestar Galactica, depending
on your slant. (It's going to be bright ... & fun.) The tralk totally
disses Farscape in the process-- "What was wonderful about Farscape, in its
day, was that it was fresh."
       http://www.tvguide.com/newsgossip/insider/030129b.asp

Nina (maybe fresh = cheap to BH, like the $7.56 per show Sci Fi pays for
      Dream Team)

      How about this one.

Jason Connery replaced Michael Praed on Robin of Sherwood. Michael Praed
had a relationship in real life with Finola Hughes. Finola Hughes plays the
Halliwell sisters mother on Charmed. Adrian Paul was just on Charmed. :)

      Here's another one:

Michael Praed left Robin of Sherwood and went to CA to play
Prince Michael of Moldavia on Dynasty. Colbys was Dynasty's
sister show; characters crossed over, at least at the beginning.
      AP was on The Colbys.

ZK (I had a cat named Devi at the time and my sister watched
Dynasty. The cat nearly had a psychotic break whenever the show
came on because she couldn't figure out why invisible people kept
calling her name)(it was even worse when I was taking a
statistics course and worked on "Standard DEVI-ation of the
      mean")
