Glad to hear you are a real fan by many fan standards.

Connor's death in Endgame was pointless and obscure, he didn't need to be in
the film, it could have worked better as just a Duncan film (and even better
      as a Connor film.)

We can suspend disbelief. He isn't too old to play the part and he has
agreed to return to the role if asked by TPTB. Why is it so hard to revise
the history ansd simply say Connor became an immie in his 40's. We do it
      with Duncan.

But, Lance, they at least had major causes in mind. Yeah, you have a lot of
opposition here just like they did. But there is a BIG difference between
you and them. I don't think anyone, immortal, mortal, whatever can compare
themselves to Martin Luther King Jr., JFK and Ghandi. They stood for just
causes that would help people in the long run. Sorry, I don't see what
you're doing here as helping anyone. CL is noticeably older now and you
cannot fight a battle like this. Your right that maybe the movie would have
been better with on or the other, but the fact is, it's said and done. The
movie is how the movie is and Connor is dead. Just like Elvis, baby. You
gotta learn to let go and move on. Plus like I've stated before, Fan
Fiction works. Use it. In that you can have your perfect world with Connor.
      'Nuff said.

That may not be a bad idea. But then again look at the comic book and all
the changes in the creative teams have done. Jean Grey has died a million
and one times and they still haven't settled on the right history for Donna
Troy. It will have it's good points but also the bad ones.

Ok, why do I have a problem with this statement? It's almost scary. Fight
for what? Connor is dead. Plain and simple. They needed to pass the torch
and it was done in a way that apparently you didn't like and now you feel
      you have to fight?

What year is it?! 19856? Have we really passed that many years or are you

Now, I know I probably shouldn't ask, but who is this Consortium? This is
the first (with this thread) that I've ever heard of them.

My 2 cents. Back to my snowy fields of dreams:)!

      > > > Like I said.
      > What did you say?

I said it's crap. Remember? I think all your (& I'm paraphrasing) "all
true HL fans must fight for Connor" insistence is crap. Why? Because it is
silly, divisive, mono-focal & lacking in content. (And, Debbie said to stop
      it ages ago.)

Now, like everyone else, you are free to express your opinions here (though
conforming to the list owner's rules would be nice), just as I am free to
decide, after due consideration, that such opinions are, in my opinion, crap
(see above). You've helpfully provided more than enough material for
everyone here to make his or her own informed judgment about you & your
      opinions.

      > We will fight for Connor until the last of our blood. That's our creed,
      we
      > are not quitters.

Yes, & you are watching us, & you'll fight to the death, etc., etc., etc.
Your problem w/ this crusade is--no one is watching _you_. Specifically,
HL's TPTB don't know you exist, & they don't care what you think; they
wouldn't change anything for you, even if your mythic legions of cohorts
      were real.

      Connor's a foot shorter. It's a done deal.
