Subject: HL:E DVD ad
I just got the latest Realms of Fantasy and there is a HL:Endgame ad on the
back. It says: "Exclusive new cut from the producers of the original
Highlander - More action, more steamy scenes, all new ending."
Also:
Legendary two-disc dvd bonus material
- Feature commentary track with producers Peter Davis and William Panzer,
Editor Robert A. Ferretti, and co-executive producer H. Daniel Ross
- An earlier full length cut - 100 minutes

I'm a bit confused here. I'm not sure if there are 2 full movies on this,
or just the one 100 minute earlier full length cut that has the all new
ending. I'm assuming 2 movies with a longer version of what we got in the
theatres as one of them. Anyone know for sure?

Two movies - two disks. The theatrical release on one (with other stuff) and the new (old?) version on a second disk (with other stuff) .
My question is...is the "earlier version" the same as the "working print" some of us saw? Because...it wasn't a finished product - bad sound, no music, etc. I'm assuming (hoping) that the "earlier" version is, in fact, the original movie re-edited to include some of the material that was cut for release.
Of course, one of the "extras" on the disk is suppose to be "deleted scenes"- would you want the deleted scenes - separately- if they were, in fact, put back in the second movie?

This episode has one of my favorite Raven lines. Amanda is complaining that Nick shot Collier. Nick says.."It isn't like I killed him. More like...Immortalus Interruptus" Ok..ok..not Shakespeare but it made me smile. (Egads I'm easily amused sometimes!)

Immunity
1) Scene. The teaser.
American: Nick is watching a man put briefcase in trunk of car. The man prepares to leave. Nick follows, talking on cell phone, "I'm on him". Cut to Nick at the park, getting into position to watch the transaction.
Euro: See Nick drive to the park. See Nick park the car. See Nick walk along the sidewalk looking for the best place to spy. See Nick get into position to watch the transaction.
2) Scene: Amanda shopping
American: Amanda is walking with her shopping bags and feels the Buzz. She looks around. Cut to Collier coming out of a store across the street. Amanda seems to identify him as the source of the Buzz and nods to herself. Cut to Amanda entering alley without packages but with her sword.
Euro: Amanda is walking with her shopping bags and feels the Buzz. She looks around. Cut to Collier coming out of a store across the street. Cut to Amanda entering alley without packages but with her sword.
3)Scene: End of scene at the park where Bert and Nick discuss the job. Nick is in car, Bert outside.They are discussing women for the job.
American:
Bert: "You got someone better in mind?"
Cut to Amanda in her apartment.
Euro:
Bert: "You got someone better in mind?"
Cut to outside shot of Amanda's apartment.
Cut to Amanda in her apartment
4) Scene: Amanda and Nick at the embassy party. They are looking for the room with the safe. They have just spotted the door when Security sees them. Nick grabs Amanda and kisses her.
American:
Security: "You seem to have lost your way."
Nick: "Have we?"
Security: "If you will follow me".
End scene
Euro:
Security: "You seem to have lost your way."
Nick: "Have we?"
Security:"This area is off limits."
Amanda: <playing clueless> "Off limits?"
Security:" For security reasons"
Amanda: <very brightly> "Oh! Of course." (smiles happily at Nick)
Security: "If you will follow me".
End scene
5)Scene: establishing scene of the cocktail party.
American: Shot of jazz group playing from across the room. Security walking along toward staircase down to party level.
Euro: Close up on each jazz musician. Distance shot of group. Slightly longer shot of Security walking toward party.
6) Scene: After Marta has fooled the cops and been released:
American: Cut to Amanda still trying to open the safe.
Euro: Cut to outside shot of embassy, guards patrolling, then to Amanda still trying to open the safe.
7) Scene: Amanda and Nick wait in the bushes outside the embassy, planning to steal the plans.
American:
Nick: "I'll take the driver and the bodyguards. You take Ms. Antenesque."
Amanda:" I'm flattered"
( See guy carrying bags to truck of waiting car.)
Nick:We'll have to be ready to grab and run"
Euro:
Nick: "I'll take the driver and the bodyguards. You take Ms. Antenesque."
Amanda:" I'm flattered"
Marta and several other men exit the embassy and walk down the long driveway toward the car. Marta is almost at the car when she stops and says, "Wait one moment" and turns back to the embassy.
Amanda (voice over) "Ms. Antenesque needs to get her ass in gear"
Man putting bags in truck.
Nick:We'll have to be ready to grab and run"
Back to American version.

American: Opens with Nick and Lucy in apartment waiting for Amanda.
Euro: Opens with outside shot of Amanda's building, then to Nick and Lucy.
