      That's what I've heard.

those who have seen a preview screener of the video tape about to be released
in video stores say it is a totally different animal. Scenes restored that
were in the workprint that would have made more logic to the movie [e.g. DM
removing his coat], but some scenes in the workprint [e.g. Jin's beheading]
are not in the final movie release. And *NO MORPHING* :) etc. etc. But it
also seems as if they do something different with the ending, using the Faith
lives ending but not as done in the workprint, but shorter, better.
      I guess we'll see.

That self-drive tour of Scotland was on the web years ago, and I was
wondering if anyone still had access to that information? I'm trying to
plan a trip there this summer and need all the help I can get. Thanks.

      Hi all,
HLDU will be hosting it's first story competition at HLDU4. We know we
have lots of talented writers in our ranks, so come on all you wonderful
authors! Like our songvid competition & art show, the story comp is open
to non attendees. We welcome everyone :)

What we'd like you to do is write a missing scene, something that we didn't
get to see on the screen, but that would fit within an episode, or between
2 episodes, or in-or-between the movies etc. It doesn't necessarily have
to enhance the plot of your chosen episode(s), but it should fit within
canon & mustn't tamper (at least not seriously or irreversibly <g>) with
the canon/timeline of your chosen HL window.

      The Rules:
      1) Can be set in HL:The Series, HL:Raven, the movies or even the novels.
      2) Should be between 2,000 and 10,000 words
      3) No slash, please
      4) Closing date: 24th March 2001
      5) Please state by which category you'd like your story to be judged (eg
      drama, comedy, romance, action/adventure)

      The Prize:
Like the songvid competition :) Acclaim plus a nice one-off prize (which
we have to think of yet, but it'll be great <g>)

Come and join the fun, folks. Contact me to register your participation &
      to get more details

      cheer,
      Sonja
