Wendy (See?)(I can be nice and helpful.)(Although why *anyone* would
want to leave our happy company is beyond me.)(Our useless and
not-so-recently departed leader sets a bad example.)(If the boss won't
even stick around, how can you expect the peons to?)

Hi! :0
Refresh my memory for me. I haven't been here for around 10 years.
Who is/was our recently departed leader?
And....Hello again! :D

(Marina attempts to sound like Dido:)
I didn't hear you leave
I wonder how am I still here
And I don't want to move a thing
It might change my memory
Oh I am what I am; I'll do what I want
But I can't hide and I won't go
I won't sleep; I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me
And I won't leave; and I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here with me
There's more but that would just be torturing people. :)

I saw a comment elsewhere about a special album being recorded in
connection with The Source. I thought some of you might be amused
at some of the info about it. The link for it is-
www.highlanderworldwide.com/music/highlanderalbum.html
Some of it says-
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE SONG!
[..] As the fifth film in the franchise, The Source, is readied for
release in Spring 2007 by Lionsgate, a special Highlander album is in
pre-production to co-incide with the new movie.
[..] "The Source" soundtrack will feature re-recordings of the classic
Queen hits Who Wants To Live Forever? and Princes of the Universe. Here
is YOUR chance to vote on the final 'Queen' track to be included in
the special Highlander album. There are four possible tracks from
which to choose all of which featured in the original Highlander movie.
It also says the poll closes on Nov. 3rd and the results will be
"announced shortly afterwards" but there doesn't seem to be anything
listed. In one place it also refers to the album as "the proposed
Highlander album" which makes it sound a bit iffy. It does say there
are sound clips on the site but I wasn't using a browser that could
play them so I have no idea what they actually sound like. The whole
thing seems a bit cheesy. Polling the fans of anything to decided
what to do doesn't seem like a good way to get a real idea what
the fans in general want, it only shows what the ones who vote
on web polls like. It also says the songs are a `new take on the
Highlander classics' so I'm curious how much they're changing them.
I'm not a Queen fan but saying something is a `new take' on a
song could mean anything. If anyone actually listens to the clips
I'm curious what you thought of them.
