What really makes me laugh is this first line from the auction item
descriptions.
"Scheduled for release Fall, 2006 to Lionsgate, the fifth Highlander Movie,
The Source is now scheduled for 1st quarter 2007 release."
Fall 2006? Now first quarter 2007? Do I hear mid-2007? Late 2007?
Just how far can they push this out. :-)

Sure. But it's more fun to make it up as I go along with little regard
for the actual plot.

No. I think not. Before the movie opens, that big blue suit that the
ancient cursed Immortal wears seems cool. Once you've seen the movie and
discover that he looks just like the demon, Balthazar, in BtVS episode
"Bad Girls" it's not so cool and not worth squat.

Boot? Singular? Ouch. Poor Duncan. Now he knows how Xavier felt <eg>

More likely the ratty fur-collared coat Methos wore after sleeping with
_____

Why would it suck? Because it was directed by the man who brought us
"Lawnmower Man" or because it is being edited by an insurance company or
because there are no flashbacks or because Duncan ______ and Joe ____
and Methos ______?

Scotch--sell ALL the katanas!")
Maybe Duncan doesn't use a katana in this movie- that's so yesterday. In
the near-post-apocalyptic-future, surely he'll have a vibro-blade?
Wendy(For only $95.45 you can own the authentic plain white polyester
shirt worn by the third extra from the right in the crowd scene where
everyone in Bulgaria looks up for 3 seconds when an Immortal flies
over.)

Saw the recent posts about the stuff on e-bay, so I went to have a
look.
Now, do they seriously think anyone is going to pay $319 for a jacket
belonging to a nobody-actress?
And I certainly hope the one idiot who *has* bid on an item realises
that he/she is bidding on the *drawing* of a ring, not the ring itself.
(no offence if it's someone on this list, but c'mon, get real, $25 for a
drawing?)
The mind boggles. Some people out there obviously have way too much
money and no idea how to spend it.

That just takes me back to the charity auctions there used to be during the conventions. I remember one year the napkin that AP was using onstage went for 50 bucks or so. Or was it way more.
I just nodded my head and told myself it was all for charity. Course I doubt this EBay auction is.

Which also applies to those who funded this flick. The franchise has sunk
so low the old adage of "throwing good money after bad" doesn't even cover
it.
