I can understand being leary of bying the Season 6 dvds. I think
I may have only watched it once since I bought them. But I was
curious about the Eurominutes and extras so figured it would be worth
it. If any of you are looking for any of the dvd sets, the HL Store
still has them all on sale for $29.99. I still haven't gotten around
to getting the `Best Of' set from them though but am tempted. I'm
not sure if it's worth it though since all I want it for a better
copy of the extra features, mainly the sword discussions and demos.
It would be nice if they just packaged that as a special dvd, rather
then having to buy it with the episodes.

And for a side note, I saw a play a few days ago and was pleasantly
suprised that it had a sword fight in it. It was set in 1700s France,
so a sword duel wasn't out of place. The lead was played by Michael
      T. Weiss from The Pretender, but this crowd would also know him from
the Dark Shadows remake he and Adrian were in. The sword fight was
pretty brief, and given the set layout they couldn't do much. But
then MTW on stage, with ponytail, nice costumes, and good acting
was more then enough without an elaborate sword fight.

I'm sure Heidi meant to add "Debbie" to her Subject line, so I have done
      it for her.

      Heidi says:

There is no reason to be leery of *buying* the Season 6 dvds. You may
well be leery about *watching* them.

      See what I mean?

      Hi all

HLWW is delighted for Valentine Pelka that dates have been finalised for =
      the
Australian run of his acclaimed John Lennon play 'In the End' in Sydney =
      from
February. He will be flying out to Australia in a few weeks' time for =
      the
run which will commence on February 28th. This is obviously one of =
      those
occasions that, selfishly, is also mixed with disappointment for us =
      because
as you will quickly surmise, this means that Valentine will not be able =
      to
attend our 'A Call to Arms' event on March 10th-12th in Leeds.

He called us late last night, within minutes of his schedule being
finalised, to let us know the situation and he is as genuinely =
      disappointed
as he knows we are and you will be. He was looking forward to seeing all =
      the
old faces, some new ones and enjoying a great convention in his =
      home-town.
In the last few hours we've been talking with him and we're all still
determined he will be able to be involved in some capacity, even if his
presence is in spirit rather than body.=20

As those of us who follow actors' lives know, this is always a =
      possibility
because they never know when an opportunity will come along - and of =
      course,
we always want them to take such opportunities.=20

Of course, we intend to make sure that his stay in Sydney town is a
      wonderful one!

He sends thanks for all those who've supported his work in Highlander =
      and
this latest theatre project and promises to keep everyone up to date =
      through
HLWW and his official fan-club, the VPFC.

Watch out for more information on the con guest list shortly.

      Kind regards

      @ Carmel Macpherson
