John's the one w/ the brand-spanking new dictionary, but.... A carmel is a
PLANT? Really? There's Carmel, CA, & there's Carmel, NY. And Mount
Carmel. And Carmelite nuns. And, of course,
      Carmel-in-Oz-who-does-unspeakable-things-w/-the-male-Highlander-characters.
      What kind of plant?

      > be watered , pampered and loved.. None of you are getting near them. The
      > Carmels are happy and unlike Puff the magic dragon was not forgotton.

And then it all goes south. It's like the Internet is smoking something
      funny today.

Subject: What new is there to look forward to?

I have recently started reading the list again after a very long time away,
inspired by getting the finally affordable six season package of DVDs.

My first order of business was to figure out what was new and upcoming or
even rumored to happen in terms of new Highlander footage.

Well, I have been reading the lists for a few days and have still not been
able to completely figure it out.

So, could some kind soul please answer the following questions?

      1) I take it there is a new cartoon of some sort coming? What is that all
      about? Movies or tv? Plot?

      2) I also take it there is a new live action movie? What do we know about
it? (When is it coming? Who is in it? What is it about? etc.)

      3) Is there any hope at all, even in the rumor stage, of getting a new tv
      series?

      Thanks!

Kind? Here? No. But I have a couple minutes.

      > 1) I take it there is a new cartoon of some sort coming?

An animated film seems to be the latest imminent threat from DPP. If you go
here, don't buy anything (unless you enjoy making consumer fraud claims) but
there should still be a preview & (laughable) summary available.

      Flying Immies, apparently.

      Probably not.

John keeps telling us (w/ mysterious undertones that may or may not be
explained if one sends him money) that HL: The Source will eventually get
made. Recently at Cannes, DPP threw a party & vaguely announced an upcoming
Highlander trilogy. Then, Panzer promptly fell down & broke bones. So, the
universe DOES have a sense of humor.

      > 3) Is there any hope at all, even in the rumor stage, of getting a new tv
      > series?

Hope of getting a series, or hope of it being recognizable as Highlander?
      And, no.

Nina (of course, there's always Highlander: The Opera to look forward
to....) (other than my dead granny, DPP are about the last folks who have
any business being at Cannes) (how ... pathetic) (guess that's what the
HL: Store profits go to fund)
