Let's see Duncan living in Paris. Does Tom Live in Paris? Tom is Bi, Bi
Coastal (L. A. and NYC) that is. Duncan? Bi -continental.

Does Tom have a cool Barge just outside of Notem Dame? (yeah that big
famous church on the middle Island where the Sine splits into two. Just kidding
about the spelling folks) Tom, Does he have a house boat?

Okay, real life verses an alternate universe, but who said the dream can not
be real? "What the Bleep do we Know?"

      Hi

Goodness we woke up Sandy. Tom is a fool and acts like one. I happened to
see him on Oprah. He does not love this lady. I bet this is a typical
      Hollywood
wedding a year or two. Tom is One of the boys I believe. No one will take
away the magic of Duncan and Amanda on top of the Eiffel Tower. Once Tom's
movie is over and he has half of this poor girl's money in his so called
      church
he will dump her. Please no flames I had to deal with an old famous troll
      tonight on other list

I've been getting a kick out of the commercial about the Eiffel
Tower, where it shows time-lapse photography and then shows it lit up
and refers to the horrendous electric bill. I kept waiting for it to
      go out.

I have had our somewhat loud and passionate disagreements. But I like and
respect Donna and it's interesting to note that she says exactly what she
thinks (whether others agree with the opinion or not), doesn't censor
herself to fit the general consensus if she doesn't think it's right and
doesn't call a spade a digging implement for the sake of political
      correctness.
In short, when she's with fans, she acts like a fan - only one who was also
heavily involved with the show itself and can sometimes give a definitive
word on what a certain event/process involved rather than speculating.
It doesn't make her right *all* the time and it's fine and dandy to diagree

Opps. okay it wasn't Gillian, it was Donna and her highlander book, the
point is the Powers to Be messed up by not listening to these ladies. . . .The
book is when Duncan was protecting a woman Arab peace representative from and
      Immortal and old friend
of his who died in the Masada fortress. I think Constantine was the Roman
General who over saw the attacked

Surly , you all have similar stories of highlander movies and episodes
      never made to film?
What were those stories? One *Donna* story, that never made it to
production, I think, was about the oldest moat powerful Immie located right here in
      the Heart land of America.

The anim thing is something TPTB pulled from old scripts from YEARS ago
(Highlander: The series season 2 or 3 or so). Why not pull non production
      scripts with better stories?

Wendy, What will you be dressing up this year in the SCA big event? I have

      1) There's been little worth debating here in ages, in large part due to
TPTB's insistance on diluting all things HL down to aimless froth. Can't
      debate froth.
      2) I'll cheerfully admit to the odd barb, but the personal insults haven't
come from me. (Don't get the difference? Calling someone you don't agree
w/ "pathological" is a good example of throwing personal insults into one's
debating strategy. Immediately below is a barb.)
      3) Shouldn't you be circling some bandwagons?

Well, if you insist on talking to yourself, don't whine about the
consequences. (You DO leave yourself wide open for these, you know.)

Hmmm. A Highlander reference is needed. OK--yet another fall TV season
looms w/ quite a few interesting-looking shows including several genre-type
ones thanks to Lost's success, but w/ AP signed up for nothing. Does he
      even audition for these things?

Nina (random parentheticals are rather a tradition here) (personally, I
find them less annoying than sig lines trying to sell stuff) (generally
stuff ripping off one genre franchise or the other) (if you don't like my
parentheticals, don't read them) (however, entire posts reading like acid
trips in need of spell-check & a kick in the groin are rather unnerving)

      Wait.

Someone is holding Carmel captive in a warehouse and we're going on
      about *Donna*?

People. The biggest of the BNFs is in apparent peril. Shouldn't we
      mount a rescue or something?

*looks around at the cavalry, who are scattered far and wide and can't

Damnit. I KNEW I should have picked up a flag for the rocks on
Duncan's table instead of for Methos. At least then I would have
      something to throw at Carmel.

      I mean...at Carmel's captors. Yeah. Captors.

      Nina,
If I was being personally insulting I would have scrawled something along
the lines of 'seems to have the debating skills of a scorpion and the wit of
a dead sheep' but I wasn't trying to be nasty.

Heck, I only asked if the need to insert insults/barbs/however you want to
define cheap shots used like punctuation, was something you enjoyed doing
or couldn't help yourself from doing (For future reference,...
Pathological:Of, relating to, or manifesting behavior that is habitual,
maladaptive, and compulsive: ie: a pathological liar)

Feel free to hurl back another barb whenever you feel like it. In the
meantime I'll be discussing Highlander (good and bad), promoting the
ocassional personally-created product that people might like to be aware of
but aren't forced to buy... and waiting with bated breath, like everyone
else here, for the next thrilling put-down from the sand-pit.

I'd worry more about what she's got EDM doing to the poor camels in there.

Also, as Rob so aptly summed up--

Somewhere in there, there's a joke about not trusting Methos as far as you
can throw him, but I guess that topic got covered a while back.

Hopefully you hear the sound of Cobra gunships approaching.

Let me reiterate John's question - Is English your first language? If
not, we will all cut you a wide bit of slack. If it is, I repeat my

      HEY

Get way from the ware-house and the CARMELS. You all left the poor plants to
be watered , pampered and loved.. None of you are getting near them. The
Carmels are happy and unlike Puff the magic dragon was not forgotton.
