For sure Davis is the business end of this "partnership" so I'm not surprised
that his name is showing up on the Xena promotions etc. But from what I hear
BP is still quite the "brains???" behind the HL franchise. He was slated to
appear at the con in LA sponsored by the HLDU but he had a personal family
emergency and couldn't come. He is in charge of the mini series being produced.

It always bothered me that there was never an attempt to fill in this missing space. I understand that in the beginning the writers and D/P were struggling to find the direction that HL would travel, but by Season 3 it was pretty clear that with some exceptions (Money No Object for example) that the series would be following the journeys over time of DM and crew. A flashback scene would have been nice - was it perhaps Tessa's idea to have Richie move in with them, or would she have been furious? I can see it both ways. And when Connor said, Keep and eye on him", i don't think he was expecting DM to kidnap Richie, even that Richie would want to be taken into that world.
