Bruce A Young is currently doing a role as a wrongly convicted person on NYPD Blue. Looks yummy as usual. He has such a voice!

Just letting you guys know first.

There HAS been a delay in pre-production. Now before the 'HaHa! I told you
so!' brigade starts planning a Glass is Half Empty party, it's worth saying
that the mini has to hit a specific timing slot for the financiers - who
make several minis a year. With the final people not signing off on the
script until just too late, it now looks as if it'll have to be moved to one
of the next slots in the schedule. In short, it's missed 'Summer' and will
now probably go ahead in the 'Fall'.

I chatted with David Abramowitz yesterday and he's still very optimistic the
mini WILL be going ahead as everyone HAS now signed off on the script...
it's just a fiscal thing. Think the big industry version of a tax year :)

No doubt some will revel in this news. The rest of us will cross our fingers
that its just a rather typical hiccup.

      HI John

Thank you for the news I do believe having the mini series has a better
chance of being seen in the fall any way, I just hop it past the baseball playoffs
I week or two after the playoff would be great. I appreciate you telling us
      about this.

Is this going to be a Scifi Mini Series, or has that been decided yet?

      Surprise, surprise, surprise.

      _What_ glass?

But, OK, accepting your simplistic notion for a bit.... Highlander: The
Series was, for the most part... a tall, ice-cold, fresh glass of whole
milk. Rich & yummy _chocolate_ milk, even. Served up in sparkling crystal.
Free refills. Until season 6, when that was abruptly switched to skim milk
(served in the carton). Then, we got HL: Raven--powdered milk (sloppily
poured into flimsy paper cups). Endgame arrived, & the milk had decidedly
curdled; rumor was--the cow had died.

To date, the purported HL mini-series--delayed yet again in
pre-production--doesn't consitute "a glass" of any type. It isn't anything
at all, other than a possibility. Lots of those out there, good & bad.
