The second part of the Cinescape article is up at
      http://www.cinescape.com .

Apparently, the musical, or stage show, or whatever,
is still haunting us....the article says they're still
      negotiating about it.

I think it's time for negotiations to shut down. And I think we need to be the
ones to do so. Violently, if need be. I think a shipping palette of TNT should
be enough. Or a really big wooden mallet.

Or a bust of Adrian Paul's severed head (just kidding -- I saw "The
Godfather" a few days ago, so I'm still getting some of this out of my
      system).

I've been following this thread with great trepidation. Maybe we need to
behead it? It DOES seem to be immortal....

No matter that there's a musical planned somewhere down the line...

No matter that a first glance at The Source screneplay evoked cold sweats...

2004 will at least see a new TV Highlander project and, so far, it all
      sounds good.

If John says it all sounds cautiously optimistic, I'm willing to go along for the ride.

The first movie was always a bit of an operatic tour de force, anyhow (a very *loud* one, I might add).

I'm not sure, but everytime someone mentions the possibility of a Highlander musical, the image of the Gilligan's Island musical "Hamlet" comes to mind.

*Now* I am imagining the Muppets singing Highlander....
