Dotiran quotes Diana Gabaldon (writer of fabulous novels, but lately in
severe need of an editor who can, well, edit) re: fanfic--

      Heh, heh, heh.

Let Dotiran holler at you players:

I'm assuming Ms. Gabaldon refers to fan-fiction as fan-fiction published in
'zines, the Internet, etc. (asking for a moratorium on simply thinking up
or writing out the stories borders dangerously on thought control). She
has every right to defend her work from those who infringe on her copyright
and write stories with her characters against her will. Considering that
she has put the effort into developing those characters, she and/or her
publisher should have the final *and only* say on whether fan-fiction about
      her characters should exist.

Happy Holidays everyone. We've done an online little site/card with a couple
of new cartoons. Don't forget to page down and click on "Jack's Revenge" to
      see the 2nd cartoon.

You can also reach the site via a link from Startoons, our main Ashton Press
page or the Holiday Fan Fiction Archives (which I will be updating heavily
tonight!). Feel free to pass this information along to any interested parties.
