After seeing this episode for the umpteenth time, I still maintain that the ending would have been better (and more in keeping with the whole "feel" of the episode) if Keane had bested Duncan and then let him live- instead of Duncan once again being the one who shows "mercy".

Of course, it would have helped if the actor playing Keane had an ounce of "presence" . He was supposed to be another Duncan- strong, moral, just, slightly angsty. Instead he came off as a annoying zero.

Typeical 5th season dark type of ep, I think. Not too
bad really....though I wasn't too fond of Byron.

Methos looked cute in his little period outfit, don't
you think? And I like hearing Joe play his guitar. So,
there were some good things there.

The Watcher's Guide says Maurice was in this ep, but I
didn't see him. Where was he?

<Sighs> And so, here we are. The beginning of the end.
Archangel is tomorrow. I can't believe it went by so
fast. And Spike's not showing four eps of Season six
(To be/Not to Be, Two of Hearts and I think Deadly
Exposure but I'm not sure). So they'll be starting
over again before long. (which means I can retape the
first and second season eps without that annoying
      black bar at the bottom)

Mel, who still hasn't figured out what's so cute about
Methos' toes *ducks and runs* The nose, yes. The
sprawl, yes. The toes-haven't figured it out yet.

I was wondering if anyone still had the full lyrics of the fan song that =
was heard in this episode. I had forgotten all about the song. *LOL* I =
had loved it so much the first time I heard it. And at that time, I =
didn't even know that it was a fan-written song.

      Thanks!!
