But didn't Duncan say that to Joe in one of the eps, too? I think
      we need a threesome fanfic!

      Like what, Wendy? :)

won't be writing any in the future. Lex and Clark are more fun!

Yaknow - sometimes there really *isn't* a "better way" - and
5400 years of combined experience tells you that ;-)

I've been meaning to post a plug for this video for some time. Many fans
have never seen it because it was originally bundled by the "geniuses" at
the DPP office with a $400 "Ivanhoe" (Methos) sword. Finally, when they
saw that very few people in the HL-verse needed/wanted the replica
sword for $400 -- and only wanted the video -- they UN-bundled it and
are selling it for the very reasonable $19.95. But this is shown only online!
The most current 2003 issue of the paper Catalog STILL shows you have
to buy the sword and get the video as a "bonus."

DON'T order it online. <gasp!> CALL Customer Service directly at:
1-800-959-2481 to order and establish they have plenty of copies of the
VHS video IN STOCK and ready to ship out immediately! I called them
today and...4 tries and 2 people later I got the Manager of C.S. and SHE
knew "nothing about the video being sold separately from the sword. The
video at the online site must be some special item sale offer." I assured
her that was NOT TRUE and Peter Davis knew when to cut the sword out
of the equation in order to sell the vids. The C.S. lady said she would have
to check with "someone" "tomorrow" (Thurs., 8/14) and "get back to" me
because as far as she had been told the video "only comes with the sword."
She also said: "I don't have any way of checking how many copies of the
video we have that AREN'T bundled with the sword. I'll try to find out."

Now the scoop: This is one of the most incredibly wonderful Peter Wingfield
"performances" on tape! He is enchanting and candid and a wide-open book
about his birth & childhood, complete with pictures of little baby and toddler
Peter with his mother, bigger brother, his beloved grandfather (who taught
him to play music and accompanied his flute on the piano). He reveals his
beginnings as an actor, schools, Oxford, Medical School, and his feelings
for Methos as a living character that is still with him. It is loaded with all
the "Wonder of Wingfield" ... and more! At the very end of this well over
35+ minute film, he's seen holding Edan in his little yellow Mac and telling
him in a very grown-up and "confidential" stage whisper that "they" will
fix up his somewhat awkward barefoot return from the lapping water's
edge across a rocky, stony bit of beach "in post-production." <g>
      [Edan doesn't look too impressed.]

What totally blows me and anyone else away who enjoys and admires
Peter as an actor is the *SUDDEN* launching into of a live, dramatic,
MEMORIZED performance of an entire section of "Postcards From Alexa."
I was not prepared for this being on the tape at all! IT IS BRILLIANT!!!
If you want to fall in love with the man all over again--and see what
classical dramatic (British) training is all about, then you will be knocked
on your rear by his heart-wrenching performance of the Gillian Horvath-
written "story", "WORLD ENOUGH AND TIME." It's standing ovation and
"encore, encore" delivery and artistry. You'll watch this video *many*
times. I've stopped putting it back in its place on the shelf and now
keep it on top of my entertainment center in its case. I've watched it
over a dozen times and will do so several dozen more over the years.

BUY THIS VIDEO! *not* to make DPP any richer, but to enrich your own
knowledge and enjoyment of one truly beautiful & brilliant Peter Wingfield.
