Actually, Tessa. It was the one DM had Greta hold to get a vision in The

Paris warehouse DM takes her to as he fesses up to some details of

Gawd, I'd forgotten how much Maurice annoyed me. Why did Duncan put up
      with him?

Ok, I've got a dumb question.

At the sidewalk cafe, Duncan tells Renee Delaney the man they want is James
      Horton.

Later Duncan and Renee find Xavier, Horton and the 2 henchmen at the horse
arena. Horton splits out the back before Renee comes in. After D & R
take out the henchmen, Xaxier splits too. Renee is wounded so she stays
put while Duncan takes after Horton &/or Xavier. Jim shoots Horton, he
goes into the river. Right so far?

Back at the hotel, Duncan says to Renee "At least you got Horton. That's
what's important." What had he told her happened to Horton? He couldn't
tell her the truth without implicated Joe.

How did he explain Horton's motives for attacking him & Charlie?

DM - "Well, there's this man you've never seen who is behind in
all. But he's dead now so you can forget about him."
RD - "Oh, thank you Duncan! Kiss me!"

For military intelligence she wasn't much of either.

Just wondering what people think about the Season 1
DVD's. How is the sound and picture quality? Do they
have the Eurominutes like the tapes? How are the
      extras?

I hated Maurice at first. As time went on, though, he got better. They cut out most of the comic relief and made him more believable. I guess we are suppose to believe that Duncan has a high tolerance for annoying French guys - must be all that time he spent in France <eg>

      >Ok, I've got a dumb question.

      >tell her the truth without implicated Joe.

I assume he told her that Horton was the one who shot up his dojo, killed Harris and shot Charlie. My guess is that he told her that Horton was dead - but didn't get too specific about how or where. She could close out her case by blaming Horton. Now, how well this would have gone over with her superiors is iffy. Blaming a dead guy whose body is gone and who died by unexplained means is not the best way to declare a case closed. Then again, one must assume that CID cops are as stupid as all other HL cops.

      >How did he explain Horton's motives for attacking him & Charlie?

I'd guess he told her that Horton was after him (Duncan) and that Charlie just got in the way. As for why Horton was after Duncan, Duncan could have painted Horton as an international hitman who was trying to eliminate all witnesses. There *was* a trail of bodies he could point to as Horton's handiwork.

Is it me or was that what Connor said to Brenda right
before the big love scene in the first movie? It
sounds familiar and even funnier reading it here.

Anyone know why Mac decided to stay in Paris? Why
didn't he just take care of buisness, then go back to
Seacouver? And I hope this isn't one of those things
that'll seem easy after I find time to watch AH. (I
taped both parts and will watch it all together
sometime in the next couple days. I just hate to be
left hanging in a two parter.)

And I do think that Mac needs to trade in for a
better-looking Paris car. I like the T-Bird much
better than the DeLorean. (That was the DeLorean in
      today's ep 'Vampire', right?)

I got my copy of Best of Highlander, and in the
'Homeland' section, they describe Ian MacLeod's sword
as the claymore (at least I think it's a claymore)
with 'MacLeod' on the hilt. But I thought that was
Connor's first sword. Or did they just look alike? (Or
did Ian somehow get it after Connor left it planted in
Heather's grave?) Hm....wonder why they have such a
thing about confusing us with different people having
      very similar swords.

He did get improve over time. I never really warmed to him but at least I
stopped cringing when he showed up. It was that first impression that
really put me off. Don't much care for a man who would move into my home

I suppose that's what it boils down to, more deeply stupid HL cops. Renee
