I find that interesting, because I saw a couple of
copies of it at one of my local stores (in Hamilton,
      Canada) about a month ago.

      Phooey!

They cancel Farscape...a brilliant series with great writing and great acting and give us repeats of "Tracker"... a show with lousy writing and lousy acting?

Also--Stupid. And, since 3 names is usual--Loser. John Edward, for
heaven's sake. And Braveheart. SCI-FI Channel???

But, where's the challenge? Tracker was cheaply done (& looked it, where HL
never did) & so sadly mediocre (again--never one of HL's particular sins).
Tracker managed to make AP-in-underwear uninteresting & even a bit
off-putting, which should have been impossible.

      > Wendy(Fox just cancelled "Firefly".)(Bastards!)

Yeah, but if the future requires bad grammar, shabby clothes, & twangy
music, I'm as happy not to go there--even w/ Joss Whedon.

OHR--Thank goodness we all have Highlander: Cloakers (or maybe Highlander:
Trinity, if DPP decide it'll sell more crap for them) to look forward to,
plus HL5: The Source (which makes me think of Charmed) & that Highlander
      Broadway thang....

On this subject - just what will we be watching next year....score so far
no Farscape - Witchblade - Birds of Prey - Firefly - Buffy and who knows
      what else.

So far as I can see all we have left is Stargate and Smallville - there are
several I don't know about. I'm told Odyssey 5 has been renewed (I hope so
      - it has all the signs of being a class series). I'm told Andromeda has
been cancelled but don't know if that is true or not.

       Elaine.

Really? I haven't heard that. But I do know that Michael Shanks and Chris
Judge are filming another episode (in fact, they should be filming it right
now or real soon). They are both going to be in an episode together playing
      AI again.

Hmm. My hubby is on the Angel records email list, and that word was
directly from them. Of course we're in the US. Must be a difference in
      market release by country.

      Dear Santa,

I am sending the above quote by Nina as proof that she has been a
bad girl this year. I recommend coal in her stocking.

ZK (otoh, if we get much more weather like this, coal might look
      pretty good)
"I can see! I can see!" -- snowman, upon finding two lumps of
coal in a stocking and sticking them on his face

Coal could be a good investment on Highla-L; start with a simple troll with a well-chosen keyword or two, toss the coal between the usual suspects, and the inevitable flaming, pressure and tension would result in diamonds in no time! <vbeg>

SenseiRob@aol.com (Of course, you'd have to go sifting through mounds of mud and drek to find them afterward)

Buffy hasn't been canceled as far as I know and I've heard nothing
about whether Sarah Michelle Geller has made a decision about signing
a new contract (her current one is up at the end of the season). I do
know what Anthony Stewart Head said in an interview on SciFiWire in
Nov. but it hasn't be collaborated as far as I know. Do you know
      something?

I haven't heard anything yet about a Andromeda cancellation
      either. What have you heard?

      Inquiring minds want to know.

-Debbie (I've mostly lost interest in Stargate since Michael Shanks's
departure - the new character dynamics of the show just don't have
enough spark to keep me interested any more)
