      Well I dunno what make and model it was, but you'll apparently be able
      to tell him from his license plate...

      Ya know, I could swear that looks just like the outer guard that I saw
      on one of the HLDU Halloween auction items -- only the actual item had a
      HL oriented vanity plate in it that had belonged to a California fen for
      some years. I could be wrong, obviously there could be more than one of
      those plate guards bopping around, but I'd betcha anything there are at
      least two. <g>
      
      And oh yeah, the car was a black T-Bird convertible of some early, cool
      model. :)

      The one on eBay belongs to a different California fen.  She's selling a
      couple of nice photos too.
