She's his daughter. Mario also cast her in the 100th episode* of "The Outer
Limits" that he directed. [*It was actually #99, but given a previous
2-parter, it was counted as the 100th episode.] The episode, titled
"Tribunal" (air date: 5/14/99), was about a time traveler who helps the son
of a concentration camp survivor bring a war criminal to justice. Kyra
played the role of "Hannah".
Sam Egan, one of the Executive Producers for the series, wrote the script
for this special episode and dedicated it to his father, who survived
Auschwitz, and his father's wife and daughter, who did not. IOW, it was
another of Mario's honors to be hired to direct this episode.
