Well, SHOOT!!
Hello again, everybody, BTW <g>
I went to dub copies for 3 folks <waves and grins> of the Tracker Premiere,
with AP and GWD (<--in the last few minutes, but he does have a lead for a
number of episodes, **or so they say** <LOL>)........and I find out that my
**boyfriend** ::::::::::glares into the other room sternly::::::::::::::::
has gone and __LOST__ our tape of the premiere from Digital Cable.
I have episodes two and three of GWD and AP in Tracker (several copies, <
waves again>) in **excellent** condition, as well as AP in today's ep of
Relic Hunter "Vampire's Kiss" at SP (2 hour), easy to dub (YES, they are
really there, I checked them!!).
I am sitting here trying to dub off this kinda-fuzzy-but-still-watchable,
starts-at-EP-changes-to-SP copy that I "raffled off," and which *belongs to
somebody* <waves and grins some more>........and, well, it is just not
working out too swell <sigh>.
If some kind Soul would be kind enough to dub me the Tracker premiere, I am
happy to send tape replacement and postage costs, **OR** trade any or all of
the above for it, or Forever Knight (Canadian, including Bloopers) + Alum, or
Highlander (Euro, including Bloopers and shorts) + Alum, Buffy, Angel,
Witchblade, ROAR <waves and grins madly this time!!>, etc., etc., etc. For
one thing, I am doing Tracker for 3 other people on the Tracker and/or
Forever Knight and/or Highlander lists as I do my own (nope, not telling who
[whom?] they/you know who they/you are <LOL!!>). I was out of town when
Tracker premiered and have no idea what Mark has done with the Digital tape
he made :::::::::::glares into other room some more!!!!!::::::::::::
Merrie Gail (and <waving at McL, Don and both Debbies>), I hope this is
ok..........it is about Tracker <VBG>, after all, and I am about to go watch
the whole of AP in Relic Hunter and GWD and AP in today's (third) ep of
Tracker here. WOOHOO for that, at least!!
If you can help me (and those three other anonymous people <g>), please write
to me off list at:
mccelt2000@aol.com
Many thanks in advance.
Forever Yours, Forever Peace, Forever Hugs,
Billie-Lee (who DID INDEED sign the lease on her new house today, woohoo <g>,
who has been sick [tho still working at new job where boss was fired Friday <
eek!!>] and therefore mostly silent on the Lists and in her email, sorry!!)

Okay, I have a question. I keep seeing posts where Geraint Wynn Davies is
supposed to be in Tracker. Is he in every episode? Or is it just an
occasional appearance? Last week I taped an episode to watch and
didn't see him. And I'm sure as heck not going to watch if he's not in
it a substantial amount. Sorry folks, but I found the show overall
unwatchable. ick. Even if GWD is in it, I may only watch if I happen
to remember to tape it (it's on at 2am, or 1am or something like that
in Atlanta).
I'm almost surprised that the producers of the series TimeTrax hasn't sued.
The premise of the show seems identical to TimeTrax. Guy comes back
in time (bounty hunter/cop) to hunt down criminals who have escaped from
the future. The criminals are hiding, blending in with society and he must
hunt them down and send them back. For that matter, Brimstone was
the same idea, but they at least changed it enough and it was watchable.

No. He showed up a little near the end of the 1st episode. He was only
shown as the person on the other end of a video-phone conversation (they
used a PDA) in episode 2, and he wasn't in #3 at all.

I know I'm biased (who... me?) but I do think it's gotten better. IMO the
three shows aired so far have gone from so-so to OK to good. Hopefully
it'll continue to improve... or at least stay at the current level. Last
night's episode was good, I thought. It's the first one that didn't leave
me feeling as if it had missed the mark.

I agree. But like Brimstone (I never watched that one, but I'll take your
word for it), it has enough differences to keep it from being a complete
TimeTrax clone. I loved TimeTrax and was upset when they cancelled
it. Tracker isn't a good as TimeTrax, but I think it can be. I thought
Time Trax was entertaining tv... not *great* tv (like HL for instance), and
I think Tracker can be the same. If it had continued on the level of the
1st episode, I doubt if I'd feel that way about it now.
It's strange... I don't seem to look for the same quality in my Saturday tv
viewing as I do in my weeknight tv viewing. TimeTrax -- for me -- was good
for a Saturday night show; but I doubt if I'd watched it if it aired during
the week. Not meaty enough. I think Tracker is the same. Even though I
think it's gotten better over the 3 eps that I've seen, I don't think it's
good enough to grab me on a weeknight, but it's fine for a Saturday.
Does that make sense or am I just weird?
