I have two interviews on tapes at home, taken from two differents
television shows taped last year (2000) in France; one from M6 (a specialty
network) and the other one from a mainline network (TF2 I believe).

CL stated how he was done with the Connor character...... until they asked
him again to take it up.

few millions people that he would portray again Connor if asked - is likely
to become "urban legend" in the opposite direction - i.e. that CL would not
portray Connor ever again. Of course, it does also require an

other persons (help me with the name of this ep if anyone can.) In that

They do not, to my knowledge. Having proudly corralled just about all the

Oh well. We all get sucked into conversations and 'things' our better
judgement warns us against. I know I have. That said, the rest of your
post has me kind of confused.

I apologize, JoAnne, but I'm honestly not sure what you're trying to say
here. It *sounds* like you're saying that if CL states on national
television that he would portray Connor again, for some reason people
will interpret this as the opposite, and that this will become an 'urban
legend.' Is that right? If so, why do you think that?

Also, I'm not sure how the quote in question, as you've reported it
above, tells us anything about CL's desire to portray Connor in the
*future*. It sounds like he said that before 'Endgame' he considered
himself 'done' with the character, but that he changed his mind when he
was approached about the film. I think that this is a separate issue
from whether CL has said that he is or is not interested in playing
Connor *again*. Others here have reported that CL has said he doesn't
want to play Connor anymore. Lance keeps saying that CL said he 'would
if asked.' Why shouldn't people who have only heard the former
information be curious as to the details of Lance's information?

      > Of course, it does also require an
      > acknowledgement or acceptance that some source of information may come from
      > somewhere else that the _blank3_ USA) (sigh) (CL is doing major promos
      > stuff in France right now - Vercingetorix premiered tonight)

Huh????? Why the need for a 'sigh'? Where in this conversation, or in
any conversation on this list, has someone denied the existence or
validity of information from shows, interviews, etc. originating in
other countries? We have, on multiple occasions, seen announcements of
(and later reports about) interviews on Canadian television. We've had
reports of articles in foreign languages, and translations thereof.
American list members can hardly be faulted for not knowing the content
of interviews shown only in France. If, for example, I read that CL
doesn't want to play Connor again, and several other people report
having read/heard the same thing, but he says differently on French or
English or Norwegian tv, to which I have no access, does that mean that
I will only accept information from the US? No. It just means that I
don't know about this other information. (Mind you, I don't think what
you describe of the French interviews in question actually speaks to the
issue of CL's interest in Connor in the *future*, but that's a different
      issue.)

Quite frankly, I'm a bit insulted by your implication that American list
members (of which I'm one) are so narrow-minded (prejudiced?) that they
will not acknowledge or accept anything that didn't air in the good old
      US of A.

No, they didn't. Ginjer Buchanan checked with DPP on this.

      Lance is lying.

I wrote to Marc McCarthy, an executive at STARZ! regarding more
details about air date, the STARZ! Interview with AP and the cast,
and possible theatrical release before VHS/DVD release, etc. This
is the reply I received Wednesday, 25 January:
      __________________________________________________________

"Thank you for your very passionate email regarding Adrian Paul and the
STARZ! Pictures' original film A BREED APART - by the way, this is still a
working title. The film is tentatively scheduled to have its world premiere
this August on STARZ! - no specific date has been set yet.

I have no information at this time whether the film will have a theatrical
release or go straight to video/DVD....I'm inclined to say that it will go to
video/DVD after its run on STARZ!

I'm sorry, but contractually we can't release any of the on-the-set interview
footage we shot with Adrian. Keep tuned to STARZ! and I promise there will
be more to come in the following months.

Also, we should have a web location available in the next 30 days.

      Keep in touch.
      Regards,

      Marc C. McCarthy

Canadian! Why didn't I think of that! Especially considering

No, no, no!!!! It was me!!!! <vbg> Sorry, but I've been here since
almost the dawn of time (I pre-date weasels, and I remember when you
*started* whapping people with that flag-pole, Marina <bg>), so it's a
little frustrating to still be confused with other people, even if we're
both 'Lisa K.' (Then again, there used to be *three* Lisa K.'s posting
here, which was even worse) (Maybe I should have given myself a nickname,
      or something <g>)

My theory is sound. If TPTB bring back Connor, they strengthen the economic
stability of the franchise and DPP. DPP's prosperity than aids us all
through the trickle down effect of economics. Even the poorest of us will
eventually benefit from the economic prosperity at the top. In this way, I
argue that fighting for Connor indirectly help the homeless and the hungry.
People thought I was crazy when I urged HL fans to fight for Connor instead
of working in soup kitchens on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The impact could
      be so much greater.

uh, Lance, I was born in Romania and Iám not delighted w that helping idea.
