I have, in my possession, a picture of MolliOnWheels triumphantly
holding aloft the Season 3 videos, while those who pre-ordered
them stood around with quivering chins and sad puppydog eyes,
      unable to obtain them. ;-D

I think that's an understatement, Dorothy.

      Dawn:
Actually, Lance, your responses to this matter is freightening enough to
expect heightened security measures at future cons. You have no one to
      blame
      but yourself for this!

I speak up from my little corner:
I have to agree. With the way most people are now a days how can you expect
TPTB to not beef up security when they get someone like Lance saying those
kinds of things to them. It's definitely not fair to the rest of us who
don't mind any major upsets in a storyline, because that is all it is: A
story. And I think a lot of people, Lance included, have forgotten that. It
doesn't matter what happens to any of the characters as long as it makes the
story move on and is entertaining. What you are talking about Lance is
obsessive and you may need help else where. If I am totally wrong on that
point my apologies and no hard feelings. But a boycott over something you
didn't like happening? HELLO! That's why we have fan fiction. You can
retreat into your own little world and have everything be their way you want
it. I'm quite sure that most if not the majority of this list agrees with
      that.

What you are talking about doing could end up hurting all the Highlander
fans. First it'll be beefed up security at conventions and then fewer
conventions and then none at all. Since we rarely get a movie and the series
is over, the conventions are what keeps the whole Highlander fever going
(besides the wonderful mailing lists and other internet groups and
organizations). So before you try to Boycott something that hasn't even been
released yet and that most of the rest of the world has yet to see, sit back
and think. Are you going to ruin it for everyone else because you have to be
petty and obsessive? If the answer is yes, then sit back and write some fan
fic, where you wont ruin it for everyone else but you may find a friend or
two out there that enjoy it a lot.

If I'm stepping on toes, my apologies. I'm a long time(god, has it been four
years already? Do I qualify as middle aged or a geezer?) 'on and off' again
lurker, who has had enough upset to last her a few life times (not just from
      the lists either).
