Can anyone tell me why Season 1 isn't part of the reruns? Can >anyone tell me why Season 1 isn't part of the reruns? I am assuming you are talking about the Space network ? Because Highlander season 2 to 6 is a Canadian Show according to the regulation from Telefilm Canada (was paid in part by Telefilm Canada and got Canadian Tax Credits and had a Canadian Producer, based in Montréal - check the producer name *g* Nicolas Clermont !) and a different distributor. Highlander season 1 has no Canadian content and has a different distributor who does not "wish/seem" to allow rights. Check the board on www.spacecast.com - in the FAQ it is explained by some of the managing staff of the network *in grammatically better English btw*. It is the same reason why the french-canadian network Z who is always broadcasting Highlander weekly is not showing the first season either. But on the positive note - we get all the episodes (48 minutes long) totally and completly unedited ! (Although all Highlander all the time seems wonderful ... it has been age since I bother with any of the English versions... I find it more fun in French , checking out the accuracies and the voices of the translation ;) ) And yes, tomorrow, three showings of The Watchers on Space ;) A+ Johanne jojoann@videotron.ca ------------------------------ End of HIGHLA-L Digest - 10 Jan 2001 to 11 Jan 2001 (#2001-26) **************************************************************
