It's been 5 posts per person per day for *years*, and it's not overbearing
or unreasonable. This list is hosted by Penn State U., and they let us
use it for free. The list has about 1,000 people on it, and an absolute
limit of 150 posts per day. More than that, and the list is automatically
closed until the list owner manually resets it. And the sysadmin at Penn
State does not like it when that happens.

The 5 post per person per day limit was instituted to help prevent the
list from going over the limit while allowing as many people as possible
      to post.

Before you criticize the policies of a list that has been in existence for
7 1/2 years before you joined, perhaps you should take the time to find
out *why* those policies are in place.

We are about to start the 4th season of 'Outer Limits' in South Africa, and seeing as this is another Vancouver-based production, a lot of HL alumni guest star in it. Can anyone tell me which episodes they have guested in, or where to find a detailed episode guide to the Outer Limits which will give me this info. I've tried such things as IMDB, and they have gone so far and no further. Notices of PW (and others) appearing in OL and Stargate SG-1 have appeared on this list previously, but the info is no where to be found on the Net! Please help me!!

      Thanks
      Tarryn
(Preparing for HL:E this Friday, for which I'm skipping work to make sure I see the first showing. Contemplating taking my glow inteh dark sword with as well)

I don't know of any list of only HL guest stars, but there are definitely
Outer Limits episode guides around. Try
http://www.theouterlimits.com for starters. Sci-Fi might also have a
guide on its Outer Limits page (go to scifi.com and click on
"shows") There are also many HL alumni listed on the RCA page:
http://www.maryalice.org/rca/ which includes Outer Limits among
      the shows tracked.

Outer Limits literally has an HL actor in 1 of every 3 or 4 episodes --
off the top of my head, Peter Wingfield, Rae Dawn Chong, Ocean
Hellman, Eric Keenleyside, Ian Tracey, Martin Cummins, Robert
Wisden, Nicholas Lea, Stephen McHattie, Laurie Holden, Molly
Parker, John Pyper-Ferguson, and probably a couple of dozen
      others. Happy alumni spotting :)

Speaking of which -- Eric Keenleyside was on Mysterious Ways
last night, and Traci Lords (now "Traci Elizabeth Lords") is a new
      cast member on First Wave.

Just want to pop in with my nickel's worth. Duncan never ever gives up.
Okay, well, he sort of did in "To Be or Not To Be", but only in sacrifice
for Joe and Amanda. He wasn't really himself yet, then, anyway, still
recovering from the loss of Richie and fighting a demon and all. Cut the
guy a little slack. (Besides, his persistent attraction for Methos was
      confusing him.)
Anyway, most times he's like the Tim Allen character from "Galaxy Quest".

An interesting HL note, for those who are fairly new and don't
      know:

In the episode Homeland, when Duncan walks into Glenfinnan with
the Immortal Backpack on his back (valder-eeeeeeee,
      valder-aaaaaaaa, valder-eeeeeee,
      valder-ah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah...), he exchanges a greeting with a
woman walking toward him carrying grocery bags. That woman is
      none other than Elaine. :)

Well even around Scotland there are a lot of people with the name Macleod
never mind some of the other names. Yes I have been to Dunvegan castle,
but only a handful of times and every time taking Highlander fans there.
But I don't know anyone on the Isle of Skye. It's a lovely place though.

That was Leader of the Pack. A number of the Compuserve lot (Watchers of
CIS) made it on to set. There are more of them in Double Eagle. Among
the ones that can't be seen, were people on set during Finale, Mortal Sins.
Now you ask how come, all those have a common demoninator. Mario
Azzopardi, a very nice man who was also on Compuserve and made the mistake
of saying to Elaine one night that he'd be very pleased if I dropped in on
him on the set in Paris.<G> Don't think he realised I was talking from
Scotland. That was my first on set was in a little bar in Paris in the
episode Mortal Sins, you don't see me, but myself and another friend are
sitting in the bar behind Duncan when he tells Dalou that he is the same
man who fought with him during the war.

A few weeks later they came to Scotland and I was told I'd be welcome to
come and visit them, which of course I did. And we know what happened
then. Of course you also have to rememeber that I run one of the
Highlander fan clubs, not a lot happening with it at the moment, but then
not a lot happening with Highlander either.<sigh>

      Elaine.

Don't you just _hate_ that? I find it's happening to me, too, & I used to
know them backwards & forwards, by the #'s, etc.

I'm hoping it's just old age--I'd hate to think my HL is slipping.

I have been lurking for some time now, but I have to say that in reading the
last week's postings I have come to the conclusion that Lance needs
professional help! I am a true blue Highlander fan, but give me a freaking
break!!!! Lance, Connor is a ficticious character in a story many of us
LOVE. He is dead!!! If you want him alive again, go into your own world of
FanFic and revive him!!!! Get off your soapbox now, Lance - move on and get
      a REAL life!!!!!

PLEASE forgive me list for not putting "Spoiler" in the title of my last
post, or for adding spoiler space. I was just sooooo taken back by
this "Lance" character, that I forgot there are still those who have not
seen the movie yet. My sincerest apologies!!!!!!
