Not exactly. He explains that so long as there are at least 2 Immortal and they are kept apart, the Prize is safe. He never specified that Duncan and Kell were to be those 2 , nor did he say he was going to shoot anyone. Even if that was his plan, shooting Duncan (from a distance) while Kell was on the spot wielding a sword, would have almost guaranteed that Duncan ended up beheaded. By the time the Watcher crossed the street to pick up Duncan, either Duncan would have reanimated or Kell would have killed Duncan. A lose-lose situation.

In any event..shooting *Kell* is always the better plan because either the Watcher lock him up...or Duncan kills him A win-win situation

      Sorry Wendy

What I meant was he would shoot both Duncan and Kell. And then get both of
      the immortals.

Hmmm? I always though that he was trying to shoot Kell to make sure that he
didn't win. Maybe I should watch it again just to be sure:). Oh darn! I
think Joe showed up cuz of all the e bull and flack he had gotten for
'trashing' his oath and was no way in hell going to allow someone else to do
that. Yes, it also had to do with Mac, but come on. How often had Joe gotten
the "oath" thrown into his face for every little 'minor' transgression? Her
was this watcher really messing with the game when he wasn't suppose to. I
doubt that Joe would let the guy get away with that, protecting Mac or not.

It's called 'Shadowland' and has both PW and JB in it! Though I don't remember if they are ever in a scene together. i don't know about US screening, someone else will have to help you with that, but we've already had it down here in SOuth Africa. Now that's something amazing, we got a series before the US! Usually it takes 3 years minimum before we see something.

Someone asked which season of First Wave PW is in. The ep he's in is 'Shadowland' and it's #13 of season 3. I get all my episode guides from this site, which is very comprehensive (when it comes to US shows): http://epguides.com/

First Wave in the US has shown about 7 episodes of season 3 so
far. I imagine it will go into rerun hell or hiatus for awhile before it
      gets up to Episode 13.

(Cool articles about FW in the current issue of Dreamwatch.)

My objection still holds. The Watcher was across the street and up several flights. He shoots Duncan. Kell is no where in sight. If the Watcher waits for Kell to come into view, he risks either Duncan waking up or Kell managing to behead Duncan before he too is shot. What are the odds he could get both Immortals in the same "frame" *and* shoot them both *and* get across the street to tie them up before one or the other woke up?

It simply makes no sense...*unless* the scene was intended to be earlier in the film (somehow) when the Watchers might have been trying to recapture Duncan *before* he faced Kell. Doing it *during* the fight is stupid.

Wendy(Not that the Watchers have any trouble being stupid.)
