      Hi There,

Well I just got through taping HL: Endgame off of Pay Per View, I was curious
to see what version they were going to show..........they showed exactly what
we saw in the theatrical release.

So now I am the proud owner of the Workprint on Tape and CDr's that play in
my computer, the theatrical release on tape, and the two versions in the DVD
set. I guess I have it covered <g>.

Just thought folks might find it interesting what Pay Per View is
showing.........likely I am not the first to say so, but what the heck.

      Forever Peace to all,
      Billie-Lee

Well I'm glad that those who really wanted a copy of the theater version [yes
there are many] can now have one. But as one who infinitely prefers the
producers cut, I'm sad that new viewers will have to see the [ore *g*]
      lousily edited version. :(

OH, I agree with you absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!! I just taped it because I am a
nut about completeness in my collections <g>, but if folks only see that one
from PPV, they are really missing out indeed, you are soooooooo right!!

buddies thought he broke it - we didn't bother to tell him it was just very
      slow. <<

Oh yes those lifts<lol> they were fun.

      >> Adrian's reaction to you was very entertaining,
and the whole crowd immediately either stood up to see or craned in their
seats to catch a glimpse of
      "thewomanwiththescottishaccentiwonderifitselainenicolshesaidshewascomingfro
m scotland." All the online people filled in their non-line <g> neighbors
and you could hear the murmuring going around the room. <<

Oh yes, and after that I kept getting stopped in corridors just so that
      people could hear my accent.

The friend who had told people I was coming never made it to a US con.
Some of you might remember her Jacquie Groom, so writes wonderful fan-fic,
she did make it to the London con, although she had already met Adrian in
Paris when she and I visited the set of Mortal Sins. She actually writes
for a living now, in motor sport her first love.

      >> I'll never forget Adrian's face when he heard your voice, Elaine. Just
think, you bewitched the man. What fun that must have been for you! <<

Oh it's been that and a whole load more.<G>

      >> Heck, I married the guy next to me. (you guys have heard that story
      already) <<

       :-)

       >> That reminds me - does anyone remember the couple that got married at
      G1? <<

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about the wedding.

As I'm sitting typing this. I am playing a tape I recorded at the
Gathering 2. Someone I met at G1 and became one of my best friends brought
her guitar along, and did some singing, which I recorded. I'm sure some of
you out there have heard Helva Peters sing, (I know you have Ginny). I
play that tape and it always takes me back to that convention.

I remember at G1 Helva sang Duncan's Variations and this guy left the room,
at first we wondered why, then when he came back he was still wiping the
      tears away.

At G2 I seem to recall causing a bit a sensation too, but that was because
I collapsed on the rest room floor. All I could hear was one of the staff
saying into her headset, it's the Scottish lady she's on the floor. All I
      could ask for was coffee.<G>

      Ah the memories.

      Elaine.

Thank you for the info!!! I did get the DVD, although I haven't watched it
yet (need to hook up the DVD player), but I'd like to have a copy of
Endgame where Faith dies at the end, regardless of the faults in it. heehee

Nope, never been in it before - btw, which ep is this?

(Season 3 First Wave has just started in the UK - last ep
we got was "Comes a Horseman" I think)

Thinking back, it seems there's a story like yours for ever con - maybe it's
not a proper Highlander convention without somebody collapsing or having some
kind of medical problem - people tendto be so keyed up that sometimes things
      happen.

You also mentioned the songs - I had forgotten about HelvaP and the wonderful
      songs!

(somewhere around here on disk I may still have a copy of Claire's "Kilty
      Conscience.")

maybe that's about to change. :) It was a good episode, and it was good to
      see them both.

Jette, the episode Comes A Horseman is 3rd of 22 episodes of the 3rd
year. The episode with Peter Wingfield and Jim Byrnes is the 13th &
called Shadowland. An excellent and pivotal episode.I really like First
Wave and have watched it since the first so I was thrilled to see PW and
JB in a show I actually watch and enjoy.I thought they both looked
      great and played interesting parts.
