I saw this headline in the NY Times today and all I could think of was our
lengthy discussions on reattaching lost limbs.

Salamanders can do it. Why not humans? Scientists try to harness the genes
that let animals replace lost body parts.

      Subject: HLWW Official Questionnaire

Exactly a month ago many of us were celebrating the Highlander franchise =
in Leeds. To help HLWW formulate what we did well and what we could do =
better (and help us gear up for HLWW8 in Vancouver!) please feel free to =
answer the questions below. It's open to all fans who may be thinking of =
coming to future events, but we especially want feedback from those who =
      attended HLWW7: A Call to Arms. We welcome brick-bats and bouquets...as =
      long as they are *constructive*

Please simply paste your answers into an e-mail and send to John Mosby =
at a.j.mosby@btinternet.com with "HLWW Q&A" in the subject-line.... (and =
please feel free to pass this complete e-mail onto other Lists/Forums).

      Questionnaire:

Please feel free to answer as many of the relevant questions below as =
possible. No personal information will be circulated, but we do ask you =
give name, country or origin and age so we can determine some very =
general statistics about the people we're reaching and ways to improve =
upon that. (If you don't want to give your exact age, then we'd =
appreciate knowing if you are in your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s etc!)

      Many thanks.

      2) Have you attended other HLWW events? (please indicate which)

      7) Which panels at HLWW7 proved to be the most interesting for you? =
(feel free to expand on reasons)

      8) With so much new Highlander news, we had a lot to fit in this time. =
What did you think of our scheduling?

      9) What did you think of the Royal Armouries as our venue and how =
important is the chosen venue in itself for our conventions?

      10) What did you think of the Queen's Hotel? Please feel free to include =
comments on bedrooms, facilities, location, staff assistance and bar.

      11) Given the scale of events, guests and social activity, how do you =
rate the registration costs of attending HLWW7?=20

      12) Did you attend the cabaret? If so, did you think it ultimately =
provided value for money? If you did not attend, was there any specific =
      reason?

      AND UPCOMING.

      13) HLWW tries to pick a time and place for each of its conventions =
based on environment, facilities, timing, cost and suitability - for =
instance we take into account the seasonal cost of flying, the timing of =
public/school holidays and potential weather conditions for tourism. =
HLWW8 will take place in Vancouver later next year (details to be =
announced shortly). At this point it is likely to be =
August/September/October. If you are considering coming please indicate =
the approximate dates/month that would best suit you?

      14) Which particular guests would you like to see at HLWW8?

      15) What panels/topics/episodes would you like to see at HLWW8?

      16) Is there anything else you've seen/experienced at other cons that =
you would like to see at an HLWW event?

      17) Where will you look for information on HLWW8 (on-line, magazines, =
      word of mouth etc)?

      18) Would you be interested in additional activities either side of the =
      convention weekend?

      19) Are you likely to be participating in any of HLWW's on-line auctions =
      between now and the convention?

      20) On a scale of 1-10 (1 being 'What's the Source?' and 10 being =
'Whooo! Hooo!') how excited are you about the new film? Where are you =
getting your information on The Source?
