Ah. I only realized it was him when I saw his name in
the Watcher's guide epguide. I didn't recognize him
onscreen that well.

Sorry to be boring all of you here, but the DVD's have only recently
become affordable for me, and I've just got my 13th cheque, hence all
the questions.
I've been looking at various sellers on e-Bay and Amazon.com
marketplace, and some o them are really reasonable. Amazon are cheaper
with the postage though, so I think I'm going to use that route.
ANyhow, I'm going back to the Anchor Bay sets - how many discs do they
have? Is each season different? I was checking out a seller and asked
him about his sets. He said they were Anchor Bay sets, but only had 8
discs. I thought all the AB ones had 9 discs. Could anyone help
clarify?
It would be so nice to have the choice some of you have on the list of
being able to walk into stores & get what you want, but when you have to
order over the Net, it pays to be cautious!!
Thanks again for any help. Marina - what sets did you get, and from
where?

I have the Anchor Bay sets - in season order they have: 9,8,9,9,9,8 discs
in a set.
I don't know what types the listees have, but I like the sets I got. The
extra
features are totally worth it!
I got mine from Take2 because as you know I dislike credit cards and Take2
takes online bank deposits. Plus, there's that nifty feature where they
drive up
to your house and deliver the stuff!
The only problem I can see about ordering from overseas is that the discs
might come loose in transit. My season 1 discs were all loose and the
plastic
inside was cracked. But the discs still play, so who cares!

Egad, I must be very bored.
Long ago I *know* I did all the Eurominutes for both Seasons One and
Two. I can find all of Season One but half of Season Two has disappeared
into cyberspace. If I had access to the old HIGHLA archives, I could
find them and all would be well with the world. But *no*! I am doomed to
incompleteness unless I can find some old VCR tapes of the original
broadcasts. I need 8 second season episodes. :::: Hint :::: hint :::
Or maybe some old Listee has the old posts saved on a disk somewhere?
Season Three was done provided by dear Gillian Horvath and Velia Tanner
- all except "The Revolutionary" . Why *not* "The Revolutionary"? I
don't know. But I have it now!
Season Four - not great. I have access to all but 4 episodes in the
original episodes...so eventually I can produce Eurominutes for those 18
episodes. Anyone having old fourth season tapes needs to contact me.
Why? Because I said so!!
Season Five - Someone else did some of these...name escapes me now
...but they are incomplete. With some work I can make a stab at about
18 of 20 of these.
Season Six - ugh <eg> I'll think about this later.
Raven - oddly enough I have all of these available to work on and half
of the Eurominutes already done (and posted here way back when).
So, in hopes of spurring some actual HL related conversations around
here, I shall, over the course of the next millennium, post new
Eurominutes as I complete them. They will also be posted on my website
http://members.cox.net/immortals_incorporated/world_famous_highlander_eu
ro.htm soon as I actually upload them and see if any of the links
work.
Don't as why I am doing this. Obsessions aren't suppose to be rational.
