      Still here.

Everyone is obviously counting their Valentine cards and eating
      their chocolates.

I, on the other hand, have been counting my chocolates and eating my cards. Perhaps I'll try it your way next year.

We are still here- we just got tired of typing DEBBIE all the time and
took time off to yell DEBBIE out the windows instead. Of course, the
neighbors got tired of hearing DEBBIE every few hours and called the
police. Ferrets were engaged and mayhem ensued, all because DEBBIE
      refuses to answer her mail.

Now that Valentine's Day has passed, I wonder if DEBBIE will come out of
      hiding?

Here's a real Highlander question that occurred to me for no reason -
why in heaven's name would Duncan sleep with that horrid Beth person in
"Warmonger"? OK..OK.....sex with the horrid blonde chick is better than
no sex at all...but I think he definitely lowered his standards in that
      case.

Speaking of "Warmonger", did we all notice that Eli's words to Duncan
"This isn't about honor. This is about your pride. Your vanity" is the
same line (almost) as Mary MacLeod's to her husband in "Homeland" when
he forced Duncan to fight Robert "Do you not know the difference
      between honor and pride?".

Nice continuity of ideas on the part of the writers- except that we
might have expected Duncan to have learned something from his fight with
Robert. Of course, he was *so*in love that he probably wasn't in any
state to learn anything. Then crazy Debra went off the end of the cliff
and set the pattern for Duncan's love life ever after. And, come to
think of it, Duncan doesn't learn much over his 400 years. Anecdotal
evidence that Immortals are forever what they are at first death and
damned little real emotional growth takes place afterwards

I wonder how the newest "love of his life" will die in "The Source". . .
because you *know* she'll die (or already be dead).

Will "The Source" be post-apocalyptic ala "Mad Max"...'cause that would
be cool. Back to horses and swords. Too bad the Four Horsemen are 3/4
dead- they would have fit right in. Can everyone wear black leather?

Maybe The Source of immortality is Evian water?

OK..there you have some Highlanderish ramblings...feel free to join in.

But it's a lot fewer calories to count chocolates than to eat them. I'd
      stick with Greg's way.
