And Wendy is bitter, and that's scary -- so here's a new thought for the list.

I'm sitting here watching "Dancing With the Stars" (mock not, actors
and actors have historically been decent dancers)(or, yanno, mock if
you need to, it's all good) and it occurs to me that Adrian would
probably be very good at this. The, erm, class of celebrities they're
using are about as well known as he is, and watching the pairs shake
their asses while doing the Samba tonight made me wish to see Adrian
doing that too. Nor would I mind seeing him do the Tango again.

      Ponder a moment if you will . . .

Now. Since this is a show that relies, in large part, on celebrities
with fan-base followings who will call in, email, whatever, each week,
it seems to me that a few emails might well prove effective.

For once. Unlike the new James Bond (and can I just say OMGTFBBQ?!
about that choice), unlike "Firefly", "Angel", "Wonderfalls", and any
of the other kazillion and one times it's been tried. This time all we
need to do is convince them that there's still interest in this guy
and new people might watch their show just to see him.

And it wouldn't suck as publicity for the movie -- although I'm not
      sure if that's such a good idea . . .

Anyway - what say you one, what say you all?

      --
Kamil (Adrian would probably go for it)(he'd be good at it and he'd
like that)(not that anyone would like losing)(but the point stands, he
would be good at it)(eh, there are undoubtedly a kazillion things I
haven't thought of)(which is why I'm booting it to the list)(besides,
      it beats doing this: DEBBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
      Spanky: "You pathetic little fairy."
      Angel: "Hey! I'm not little!"

I watched every episode of TWO seasons of "Strictly Come Dancing" (the
      British
version), and I had no idea who anybody was (I don't watch British TV
      except for
a couple of things on BBC Prime), and I *loved* it! It's great watching
      people
learn how to dance, and to see them at the end, you would never believe that
they haven't been dancing for years.

Adrian would *rule* in a show like that!

The show definitely grows on you. It's great fun, even with the
mostly-forgotten or third-string celebrities. I know I get wildly excited know when Drew
LeShay takes the stage, because Mr. Ex-Boy-Band turned out to be an
explosively exciting dancer. I can't help rooting for Jerry Rice, because the football
player seems like a sweet guy and he's got a lovely grace in the ballroom
dances. The blonde wrestler is using her legs as a different kind of weapon.
And George Hamilton always makes me smile. What a natural entertainer! It's
also amusing to watch actor husband Harry Hamlin chewing his nails from the
audience every week, watching his wife Lisa Rinna compete. It's a great show for
the level of celebrities who enter the competition, because it's *great*
publicity for them, probably brings the focus back on them and helps their
careers, and gives the viewing audience a lot of personal information about them
that they never knew before. Count me as another one who would love to see
Adrian at this. They do dig back in the celebrity's career at various points in
the competition to find footage of them dancing from their film or movie
past--no doubt they will find AP's turn in DUENDE. It would just be a joy. If
there were a chance writing in would influence the show's producers to consider
asking him, and if Adrian were willing, I'd say go for it.

When I had heard Debbie had been gone, my first thought was to worry. I
think she is ok and that if something bad had happened we would know. There
is at least one person on the list who is in contact with her. That person
has posted recently(no, it's not me.) Flooding Debbie in real life is
probably not a good thing. Let them have their privacy. Besides, Google had
little information on her, and it was out of date. :) Let's just hope that
when things settle down she will return to us. It's only been 7 months, and
believe me, that's not long when things get busy.

Consider yourself mocked. I watch Skating w/ Celebrities, which is totally
different. Lots more falls, & blood gushes when they go splat. Now, THAT'S
      drama.

Yes, of course he would. Other than singing & picking decent acting
projects, there's very little the man can't do brilliantly. And watching
him would be a swoony joy. And it could help his career, at least in the
"can't hurt" sense. But, AP was a professional dancer & choreographer. Is
that type of background allowed on this show?

What movie? The Source seems to have vanished down a drain someplace,
unlike Endgame which was released 15 minutes after filming concluded. Money
problems? A sudden realization including the phrase "direct to video"?

Oh fiddlesticks. So not true. The Source is in post production. And if we
want it to be right we should all hope/pray that it stays there awhile. Talk is

I don't watch either (but I won't mock) but I find the idea of teaching
newbies to ice skate - including throws and death spirals - to be
interesting. Hard ice and sharp skate blades and people who make a
      living off pretty faces...that's entertainment!

I think it unlikely that it has disappeared altogether. Someone spent 6
or 7 thousand dollars on it...they'll at least have to put it out on
Betamax tapes <eg>. Maybe they're going to spend more than a week
editing it? That could be a good sign. Or a bad sign. How many people
will get "pass" at the editing? Will they have viewings and re-edit it
to please the test audience (made up of 16 year old boys, no doubt)?

That's a reasonable thought. Another reasonable thought is that it only
takes a few seconds to type a short email saying "I'm alive, leave me
alone" or "I'm being held captive by javelinas, send Old Yeller" or

something. Not that it would be divine retribution for helping can His TV
