Amen. I'm *still* bitter (oh, so very bitter) about FOX's
decision-making process (or the utter lack thereof) regarding
      "Firefly".

I know how you feel; I'm still very upset at ABC over cancelling
"Blind Justice." I've been upset over cancellations of TV shows
before (I still consider the last season of "Angel" to be among the
best; Alexis Denisof and Amy Acker should have been nominated
for Emmys for their performances in "A Hole in the World"), but
"Blind Justice" is the first program I ever prayed for. I've never
programmed for a network, but even I know that you don't put
a fledgling police show against one of the Law and Order shows.

OB HL: I wonder if Methos ever heard of the Deeper Well or Ilyria.

      1. Hmm...I really don't think I fall into any of the
categories. I don't really know what I am.

      2. Yes, it was Baby Baby that was the FK ep...there
was an old legend about the vamp and the XYY male
'higher than high under the light of the full moon'
but it turned out to be a myth. Janette did become
human the other aforementioned way in The Human Factor
until Nick vamped her again 'cause he couldn't stand
to see her die in the house fire they were trapped in.
(I've heard some fans say they think the ep was out of
character for her...I'm not sure what I think)

I did see one of GWD's 24 eps but missed this week's.

*laughs* re the shanshu, a couple of us on an Angel
board actually came up with a scenerio there...he
shanshued, moved to DC and changed his name to Booth.
He's still catching bad guys, just mortal ones now.

Mel (true the first few eps were less than good but
      Bones is slowly improving itself)

And I'm pretty sure I never intend to let go of that
      one. For the
record, I'm never letting go of the one where the WB
      killed it's 2nd
highest rated show because only women were watching.

If you mean Angel, ditto for me.

BTW, anyone hear that UPN and the WB are merging to
      become CW?

      >From what I've read, the CW is going to be run by CBS and
Warner Brothers (does that mean there's going to be a CSI
run by Bugs Bunny?) and that if there's a WB and a UPN
station in the same area, one of the stations is going to lose
a network affiliation. Since the CBS station (6) here owns the
WB station (19), that means that the UPN station (43) is
      out of luck.

Ah, there must have been an error. The proper term is "weasel mignon," which has been mistranslated to "minions of weasels." In fact, "weasel mignon" is a very nasty and unpopular dish that was the equivalent of umble pie for the Quebec voyageurs in centuries past. "Weasel mignon" bears no resemblance whatsoever to "filet mignon," and the term was likely coined by some waggish Frenchman.

Stay away from option d, unless you have an iron stomach.

Both in the UK and in the USA recent legislation on so called "hate speech"
is used to question what would otherwise have been called religious satire.
      Especially by Muslims.
