Fact--I'm really not. DPP saw to that.

Nina (if one _were_ interested in genuinely creative, audience-challenging,
& downright fun genre entertainment, one would be sure to watch Farscape:
The Peacekeeper Wars mini-series on Sci F Channel--hock spit--this coming
      Sunday & Monday)

      >Fact: If one was interested in the next Highlander film The Source, one
      >might want to check out the films Virtuosity and The Lawnmower Man in the
      >near future.

      Ugh.

      No, really.

      Ugh.

      Crappy movies both.

OK...the guy directed them, he didn't write them but it isn't a good sign IMGLO.

I suppose it is marginally better than Endgame, where, I believe, the director had never actually directed anything prior to Endgame. But the fact that Brett Leonard's really only done whacked-out (and usually bloody) sci-fi/horror thrillers isn't a great sign. Silly me, I was hoping for *drama* , not gore.

Oh yes...I know..I know...don't make up my mind before I see the finished product...give the guy a chance....any Highlander is better than no Highlander at all (a blatant falsehood!)....keep hope alive...the sun will come out tomorrow...there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...it's always darkest just before the dawn ... blah blah blah. If this franchise had shown even a little improvement over the years as the movies appeared, I'd be willing to keep a happy thought for The Source. But it's been a downhill slide all the way and I just won't get my hopes up again.

BTW: The Highlander Store is now selling seasons 5 and 6 for $39.99 each and free shipping -until the 20th.

Wendy(Lawnmower Man was a good book/short story)(Of course they changed it in the movie)
