Ah, just like the good ol' days...

First, we hear from Prodipto Roy <proy@microsoft.com>:
      > one I've never heard of: "Unholy Alien."

      This sounds ominous...

Then, Wendy Tillis <immortals_incorporated@cox.net> chimes in with a description
      as only she can offer:
      > Now that I've refreshed your memory, I'm sure you remember this.
      >
      > Wendy(Oops!)(I just spoiled the plot for the mini-series<EFG>)

LOL! Thanks for the synopsis, Wendy. You haven't lost your touch!

And then pulls on Marina's high-flying Richie flag with:
      > Wendy (Richie was in that episode?)(Really?)(I didn't notice.)
      >(Of course, I taped it and fast forwarded through all the boring parts)
      >(:::snicker::::)

Oooohhh, Wendy, you do know what's coming next, don't you?

(Susan pulls up a chair and claims herself a spot in the front row,
determined not to miss one byte of the response that is sure to come.)

      When Heidi <heidi@bronze.lcs.mit.edu> adds:
      > the real reason Duncan went after the other Horsemen is because Duncan
      > is also an alien who sometimes goes by the name of Cole.
      >
      > (if we're talking about aliens, Tracker was bound to turn up at some
      point.)

      Sad, but true.

(Mind you, I was in no way bothered by watching Tracker and seeing Adrian
walk around with minimal costuming, but it would have been nice if he had
been able to do so in a decent plot.)(While this brings to mind the sauna
scene in Duende, there was at least a plot there to counterbalance the
glistening torsos.)(Tracker had... um... flesh but no meat, IMHO.)(Of
course, Tracker had dialog... which I'm convinced the Duende scene was
lacking)(Or not, but who was paying attention to that?)(I mean, let's be
      honest!)

Interesting article (particularly page 2) about the direction of sci
fi/genre entertainment. Several times, I thought "Tracker," "HL: Raven," &
the like, in response to her points. Continuity buffs should appreciate her
      final paragraph.
