      The GII was held
at the Holiday Inn DIA, that is the hotel with the long corridor that you
      are remembering.>>
I had forgotten about that hall and the GeoDome type lobby pit that they had
registration in. Another year of my name being kicked out to the end of all
the lists. Seemed a non first letter capitalized last name really screwed
      their computer.
Course that was the year I walked across the little section of prairie to
the convenience store about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away.
      Saw the prairie dog town.
Sat down in the middle of it.
      Quite peaceful.
Then someone told me I should not have done that. They could have attacked
me if they felt threatened. Guess I was not prairie dog threatening.
Not a bad thing I guess.

Tracker will be shown on the UK's Sci-Fi channel from June. Will let
everyone know when I find out exact date.

They're showing it on SABC 1 on Saturday nights, as Tarryn posted a
      few weeks back.

      I'm enjoying it. Sure, it's a cheesy sci-fi show. So what? There's
room for cheese in amongst everything else. And Adrian looks like
      he's having fun. :)

There's cheese...& then there's Velveeta. Tracker had a couple high points,
but it soon turned into plastic cheese-food.

That's called acting. He has said he was quite disappointed in the
direction Tracker went & what turned out to be his lack of creative control.
They never had nearly enough money to do what was planned & had to scrimp on
everything--& it showed. The characters never developed, & the "plots" were
ludicrous. By the last several episodes, it got painful to watch, in my
opinion. The show was essentially burned off w/ no promotion or real hope
      of continuing past one season.

Nina (Velveeta IS fabulous for hiding pills in for the pups & cats...)
