Subject: New Cartoons
Feel free to forward to any interest parties.
Lots and lots of cartoon updates at Leah Rosenthal's sites as we get ready
for the huge art show at Dragon Con in a few weeks (hope to see some of you
there -- and for you Stargate fans, don't forget there's going to be a Welcome
Back, Daniel party in a suite at the Marriott on Sunday night with food, drink,
music, vids, and door prizes -- look for the flyers).
Without further ado, here are the updates:
A brand new Stargate cartoon (and another one to come in a day or two):
Daniel just isn't buying Jack's "tall tale" this time as the SGC goes on a road
trip (a crossover with Tremors): http://cartoons.ashtonpress.net/startoons.htm
Quite a number of Highlander cartoons that have never appeared on the net
before are now featured at: http://cartoons.ashtonpress.net/bizcart.htm
And a number of new multi-media cartoons, some that have never been featured
in color or featured on the web at all are at the Toonarama. They include a
Wizard of Oz/Terminator crossover, a Forever Knight, Star Trek: Deep Space 9 and
Star Trek: The Next Generation. You can find all of these at:
http://cartoons.ashtonpress.net/toonarama.htm
We also have lots of new artwork calendars for 2004:

There is a version of "Who Wants to Live Forever?" my co-worker played for
me this morning. It's by Sara Brightman (Or possibly Sarah with an "h." He
wasn't sure.)
Anyway, it's very different from the one we all know and love. It's piano,
strings, and horns. But Ms. Brightman has a beautiful voice, and it
certainly matches the spirit of the song, the profound sadness.
Worth checking out.

It is on her album Timeless. I also have a version that is a duet with
Brain May and Jennifer Rush, not sure what album that was on though.

I have to say I loved this ep. I liked the way Mac was
so nonchalant about the whole Johnny K thing. I think
he basically knew he could take him despite all
Johnny's big talking. Anyway, he was funny. And so was
Joe. I love it when he finishes taking to Mac and then
goes "Scotsmen!" sort of under his breath.
Am I the only one who'd like to see Joe and Betsy back
together? I'm not sure why, but I liked them together.
'Course if she came back and then there were
Watcher-related problems, things could get
complicated...Interesting stuff to ponder over though.
Really liked the ending. Even my mom was laughing.
Overall, a great ep.
