Gawd how I hate that term. It's an insult to mothers everywhere. Let's
call it what it is, "List Censor".

Now some folks are more comfortable in a censored environment. Got no
problem with that. Until they try to make in universal of course. Or
hang out in the free world and complain cause it's not censored to their
      liking.

What *is* with this effort to kill the lists? I don't get it. If you're
at a party and find it boring, nasty, "unsafe" or in some other manor not
to your liking, do you hang around & complain, then tell everyone to leave?

TCBO2, how about starting a thread? Something about Highlander maybe?

It's only slightly OT, because the Rogues appeared at the Legacy
convention back in 2000, and they have "Bonny Portmore" on a couple of
their CDs, and I know there are a few folks hereabouts who are fans.

It's Renaissance fair season in this part of the world (when we're not

the Norman, OK Medieval Fair, and the first and third weeks of
Scarborough Faire down by Dallas. Bunch o' pictures of the Rogues.

Subject: Movie timeline (was "Hi, I'm new!")

Basically, the second and third movies have been
ignored altogether, so there's no need to wonder where
they are in the timeline. The first movie has always
taken place in 1985, but "Endgame" is a bit sketchy.
Since it was released in 2000 and simply referred to
as taking place in the present, I usually believe it
was supposed to be in 2000 and that flashback was a
continuity error (considering the series' track
record, this is probably the truth). However, D&P say
on the "Endgame" DVD commentary that the movie is in
fact supposed to be set in 2002 and thus there was no
error, but since the comment is the only evidence of
this, I for one don't buy it for a minute.

It's up to you, Robin. I hope this helps.

The second movie in particular, but the third as well
to a certain degree, SERIOUSLY contradicted the
original film (and in 3's case, the T.V. series as
well), but both films were just AWFUL as well, so the
producers probably thought it was better for everyone
      to just write them off.

BTW, if you want further information on "Highlander
II" (or as some of us in fandom call it, "the film
that must not be named"), I suggest looking it up on
http://us.imdb.com/search, because you might not find
a lot of people here willing to talk about it (but
then again, I could be wrong).

Hi....your name looks familiar. Are you on the Forever
Knight list? Cousin Robin, isn't it? (Sorry if that's
not you...but I think you are on at least one other
list with me) Anyway, welcome to the list.

Now that depends on which one you're talking about -
as for Wolverine........ I reckon he deserves better than
that red-headed witch! (and as for a certain other L*g*an
      of our acquaintance.......... EWWWW!)

Delurking (must keep this list going ;-))

When I read your story, my first thought, before I read what your thoughts
were. also was about an Immortal committing suicide.

      Here's another one:

Last weekend, in a small town in Aachen, a man was caught in a mall,
carrying a head and a "large knife". Imagine what I thought... Turned out
it was the head of his sister-in-law whom they found later. No mention of
      Quickening damage though.

And about 3 weeks ago, in Basel, Switzerland, a collection of about a dozen
very valuable and up to 1200 year old katanas was stolen. So here I was
wondering (still not quite awake, it was in the morning news on the radio)
whether Duncan or Connor might no be living in Switzerland.

Oh my. Maybe they are living amon us????? <weg>
