I caught precisely 5 minutes of ONE episode of The Colbys. I stopped
flipping channels because I saw AP and TS together in a scene that
wasn't Highlander. Talk about tilting your world view.

It was at some kind of party/ball. He was "dancing like an American"
(I think that's a quote) and looking right goofy in the process. I
changed the channel as quickly as I could. Unfortunately, it wasn't
fast enough to prevent the image of him doing the Loco'Motion from
being burned into my consciousness for all of time.

ah but in the series that image is overbalanced by those of him leaping
around in that tight, bare chested silver unitard and walking out of a
swimming pool in a speedo. It might keep my soul from burning [*vbeg*] if
only I could rid myself of *those* images.

Liser, what are you taking and can I have some? ;-D

My sister used to watch The Colbys, as well as Dy-Nasty, up until
wazzername got abducted by aliens, I think. I don't remember AP,
although it was a very small house and it was kind of hard to get
away from it without crawling under the bed, which is hard for a
      platform bed.

Harrupmh. Big hair and bigger dresses indeed. That was the
      PRINCESS DI look! Whippersnappers.

could be wrong, but I think she is referring to the spectacle of Peter Wingfield in a giant frog suit replete with long, darting tongue, on a recent WB show he was in. Most undignified :)

Geez, Dorothy! What an image! I'm still trying to get the image
of "As The Death-Star Turns" - er - SW Ep 2 - out of my head.
You just may have done it.

That was the season 2 cliffhanger of Colbys; AP had the good sense not to be
in that ep. (And, since there _was_ no season 3, I guess Fallon's still
      partying w/ the Martians.)

Oh. I flashed on that green suit & red tie AP wore to some awards event a
      couple years back....

Thank you so much for letting us know. I will definitely tune in. Do you
think he's in the upcoming episode this weekend?

      Good question--but I don't know. I started taping season 2 (1986-7) eps a
bit late last cycle--at ep #8, & from then on AP is in most of the eps.

AP's character, Kolya, isn't mentioned in the blurbs for this coming
Saturday's 2 eps, though he may well debut then. He IS mentioned in the
blurb for ep #5 (SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW)--which should air on 6-8.

SoapNet is showing 2 eps each Saturday now. Here are their blurbs for
season 2's 1st 2 eps that aired last Sat. w/o AP in them--
      1. THE GATHERING STORM

Assistant D.A. John Moretti whisks Jason off to jail, charging him with
attempted murder on the basis of Sable's false testimony. Sable sleeps with
Zach, thinking he will back up in court her version of the shooting.
Afterwards, though, Zach tells Sable he will tell the truth, and then
refuses to let her go, saying he has more than enough to make her happy.
Monica's plane crashes in the wilderness and she is found unconscious by a
forest ranger. A pregnant Fallon grapples with the possibility that her
baby's father may not be Jeff. Miles is troubled by the news of Fallon's
pregnancy because he still loves her, but he is soon distracted by Channing
      Carter, a beautiful reporter.

      2. NO EXIT

Sable retracts her lies about Jason's murder attempt, but Jason learns that
the real reason behind Sable's change of heart was Zach's refusal to lie
about the incident. Jason tells Sable to move out and, as she leaves with
her bags, she collapses in a dead faint. Fallon tells Jeff that Miles might
be the father of her unborn child. Jeff accepts the news but insists on her
having a risky medical test as soon as possible to determine the father.
After recovering from her near-fatal plane crash, Monica returns to Titania
Records only to learn that owner Dominique Devereaux plans to sell the
company to help her financially ruined half-brother, Blake Carrington. After
another rejection from Dominique, Colby attorney Garrett Boydston decides
it's time to leave Colby Enterprises.
