Ehh, not really. I was reading the ad that I had today and you get Watcher chronicle
profiles for the characters and swords, the behind the scenes bit, and I think that was
it. I'll have to pay roughly 140 dollars because I'm in Calfornia. We get to pay 8%
sales tax. *rolls her eyes* It's REALLY not worth it, IMO. You don't even get the
extras that came with the tapes. It's just a massive waste of money.

The X-Files DVD sets are extremely high-priced. Even at Walmart it was
about $115. Now, those may have TONS of extras, but I don't know if it's
enough to justify $115.
I may eventually get s5 (of HL, not XF) on DVD, just because it's the only
one I don't have on video. As zk ::waves:: was saying, there are some eps
that I'll probably never watch again, so I can't really justify shelling
out the cash. Still love the show, still have good friends from fandom.
Dug out a bunch of tapes a few weekends ago--had a Methos craving. ;)
And is it just me, or does Hugh Grant and his new haircut make him look
a little more like Peter?

And I completely disagree. If you are interested in seeing the episodes in crystal clear visual format with remastered 5.1 sound, it is very much worth it and not at all a waste of money. Unlike tapes, the quality doesn't degrade every time you play them, either.
To me, that's definitely worth a few extra dollars.

Wait, wait, I'm still working on the acronym! Aaah. Took a few moments for the questionably named TSFKAR.

Bookmark you? Sounds uncomfortable, or at least, embarassing.

Haven't quite caught the same flavor in fandom since then.

Hey! No slash! <vbeg>
And besides, I know you're actually obsessing over the whole Carl thing.

I'm strange for a (previously?) obsessed fan. There are (*gasp!*) some episodes I've honestly never watched, even once. Sacrilege... or good taste?

See? I told you. I know all about you and the Carl thing.

Get that thing twirling fast enough, and it's just like Kansas in the springtime... flying cows and all.
It's as close as we'll ever get to flying immies.
