I can see Stan as Pippen. I can see PW as Legolas, but he'd be WAY better later on in the series as
Prince Faramir. I can see EG as Arwen - I'm assuming she's capable of doing characters other than
"flits", as mentioned on another post. Hmmm....

AV would be wonderful as Galadriel (she could probably act the part of Eowyn gorgeously, but she's a
      little old).

Now, JB - he'd make a GREAT King Theoden, again, a character we haven't met yet (unless they intro'd
him early in the movie - haven't seen it yet). A warped little part of me also sees him as Gimli. *G* It's
probably the irascibility - he does that so well.

But the *only* character I can see AP as is Boromir. He'd be *perfect*.

Still is. Cute, but too slight overall. Just--lacking something
      physically.

As for AP & Bond, I'd hate to see him in something so old-hat. Bond _was_ a
great franchise, but it's become dated (as most everything does over the
decades). The recent efforts to update Bond really haven't worked for me.

AP needs, in my opinion, something new & fresh. He'd make a great Dirk
Pitt, except his gorgeous eyes just aren't green. (And Clive Cussler got
burned ages ago on a movie adaptation done in England & isn't interested in
      trying again, I've heard.)
Speedo & wetsuit opportunities would abound.... Can AP swim? Who could
      play Al Giordino? (_Not_ PW!)

Actually, what AP _needs_ is a new team representing him--agent, PR person,
      etc.--people who are ALIVE, perhaps.

      >It has improved from the first episode (it couldn't have gotten much
worse<eg>) but it is still mediocre. But then...I'm not >sure they are
aiming for much more than that.

Agreed, & agreed. W/o the drool factor of AP (which they are certainly not
shy about using to the max) it would be a total loss.

<<<There were just a lot of factors that came together well. I've seen other
shows by DA and they were mediocre. I've seen other things by the same
writers that didn't show any inspiration . And, certain, I've seen AP do
some very questionable acting. Somehow, with HL, they all performed better
than they do individually.(That isn't to say that you could pull them all
back and start a new show and find the same "magic")>>>

I think that theory also applies to many (all?) other great TV shows--MASH,
classic Trek, Moonlighting, Hill Street Blues. Certainly it seems to apply
to current genre hit shows like Buffy & Farscape. Reading some cast & crew
material from the latter recently, I was struck by how they say the same
things the HLTS people said--they know they are currently doing the best
work they ever will in their _entire_ careers, _because_ of the
collaborative magic. In a way, that's got to be demoralizing for them, but
it sure is fun to watch the results onscreen.

Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone who might be
      interested.

I have updated both of Leah's Highlander cartoon sites. I've added one to the
Methos/Cassandra cartoon site and five cartoons to the main Highlander site.
I think that some of these cartoons have never appeared on the web before. I
have over a dozen more yet to add, so stay tuned!

      for ordering:

I've also updated Leah's Stargate cartoon site tonight with two brand new
      cartoons:

Nope, he wasn't ever in HL, and yes, I did throw him into the discussion. :) I think he

Really? I've heard so many actors mentioned for him, and I can't remember

Yes. Never liked Lucius, but now I'm calling him Luscious Malfoy. heehee. I
believe the HL ep was the first time I saw Jason Isaacs in anything.
