      Subject: New books?

I was doing a search through Barnes and Noble to update my shopping list for when i come to the states in Aug/Sept, and I came across these two titles which I had never picked up before:
Unofficial Highlsnder the Series Internet Guide by Sandra van Denson
      Highlander Chronicles by Peter Osteried
The former did not have a cover, and was on special order only, and the latter had pics of DM on the cover. Neither had any info on the books. Anybody know anything?

Just an aside: I was miffed to note they called it An Highlander: Evening At Joe's !! You would think a book store would get a person capable of reading correctly and typing correctly to enter their information.

I also discoverd a few guides to the Highlander RPG. Does anyone know if this is to do with our Highlander, that which is licenced by Panzer/Davis etc., or if it is about some other Highlanders? The Maker is Thunder Castle Games.

if it is Thunder Castle Games it is *our* Highlander and it was licensed
      - however I believe TCG are no more? They made some cool cards
with rather nice pictures (don't ask me how good the game was, I
      don't play RPGs).

Maybe it was a Southern English person - they drop the H from
everything and consider it *proper* to put 'an' before words like
      'hotel', 'house' and 'highlander' ;-)

So, is this one of those trading card games, or is it a computer game? I always thought RPG's were computer games. (ignorance is me)

Card game - RPGs existed long before PC were so much a part
      of our daily lives <g>

Haven't seen the first one. The second one is a German pub'n; a few copies
      are on EBay now--not cheap.

TCG also made some nice t-shirts from those cards. *S* I have a Duncan one, two methos
ones (a color and a black and white), a Darius one, an Amanda one, and a Annie Devlin
one. The newsletter was also really cool because it would sometimes have some cool
pics...all were in black and white, though. :(
