      Hi everyone

We are now only some 17 days away from our Tuscan tour and we still have a
few spots left if there is anyone who would like to join us.

A number of people have told me that they would come if there wasn't too
much actual *cooking*!! LOL Well the good news is that we will be spending
7 days in a magnificent Tuscan Villa with lots of time for relaxation and
wandering around towns and villages. The Contessa has organised dinner with
two Italian Princes and the gorgeous Cossimo will be our cultural guide for
a two day wander around Florence.

If you want to join a small group of mad women determined to have a wild
time please contact me as soon as possible as time is running out.

Am in the middle of a tour of Europe and spent a week in Italy and three days
in Tuscany. It was beautiful. Florence is one of the most beautiful cities
in the world. If anyone can take Carmel's trip, do it! And have a great
      time.

I had an interesting discussion with a friend in New Zealand the other day about hero worship. He has the address of a celeb that I fru over, and I was trying to coax it out of him, and he wondered (jokingly) why no-one goes all obsessive and fru-ey over him, as a normal person. Surely there must be some literature, essays etc. out there on this phenomenom? Does anyone (who has managed to work out what I'm babbling about *g*) know of something that I can read? Any interesting work out on the Net? We were also commenting on how even the people we 'worship' have their own heroes, and go jsut as gaga and fainthearted if they were to meet them.

      Any thoughts?

well of course that would deplend on what he looks like *g*
But it is a good question. One day you are Joe Schmoe and the next day you
are on a pedestal if that elusive "fame" hits. It must be unsettling for
those in the spotlight because they *know* they are still the same normal
person. It must have to do with somehow or other touching on the numinous.

Yes, we've heard Adrian Paul talk about Sean Connery in just those terms. He
even admits he got his autograph. Curious.

I have always thought of celebrities as real people. They are just rich and
famous and have great talent to show the world (anyone can do that *g*).
      Love Always,
