Shauin, don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. There are many people
who don't like Connor nor do they want him back. They choose to allow the
franchise to fall (or stoop) to the low level its currently at. We want the
franchise restored and Connor at the helm.

My apologies. I didn't realize Endhame was still under spoiler spaces. I
assumed with the video release spoiler requirements were over.

      Once again, my apologies.

Subject: Universal Boycott of ALL DPP products

For those of you who are unaware, The Save Connor Consortium has ordered a
universal boycott of all DPP products by its member agencies and individual
members. It is also asking for the support of HL fans who are passionate and
truly care about the direction and current status of the franchise, to join
in this boycott. When DPP opted to issue Endgame without a revised version
canonized version editing out Connor's fate, they, IMHO committed economic
suicide. They knew what the Consortium was proposing, and now its time to
      pay the piper.

So please join us in fighting to Save the franchise for future generations.

You can contact the Consortium at savconconsortium@angelfire.com.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Too bad it doesn't say anything about an official version in which Connor
lives. Now, a boycott has been ordered of ALL of their products. The
management at DPP seem to not care much about the fans.

      Dear Lance,

After three days in bed with the flu, I finally staggered over to my
computer to check the email. In my still delirious state I didn't delete
your message as I usually do. I read over your message but didn't go to the
Conner web site. However, when the Fairy Killer, whom I consider to be one
of the goddesses of the list and read religiously, suggested the site be
      seen, I went.

Well, if they say laughter is the best medicine, then I do so want to thank
you for the wonderful dose of medicine. I'm feeling the best I felt in days.
I particularly liked the photo of the people in the turtle hats.

Darcey (returning to lurkdom and bed)

But it hasn't been released yet. Only pre-orders are available, and not
everyone will be running out and getting it the very first day and watching
it the minute they get home. (Well, okay, maybe I will be, LOL.)

First of all, is this being released in the UK at the same time? And if not
(I have a friend there), I have a question about the regional encoding. I
see that this is a region 1 encoding for US and Canada only. Is this only
in regards to DVD players for your TV? I mean, does the encoding apply to

No it's not being released in the UK. In fact I have been told that some
people who have tried to order it hve been told that it can't be supplied
      to the UK at all.

I'm not sure about the region coding on Computer DVD players. But most
people who have a DVD player have it set up to play both region 1 and 2
      anyway.

I believe they are testing the waters, to see just how powerful we are. When
they begin to lose money because of the boycott, I expect you will see thier
      attitudes change.

forgive me if this is a moot point...Didn't CL want out?

To use an analogly. It is like all the General Hospital fans that HATE the
recast of Lucky Spencer and make petitions and call and complian that they
      want Jonathan Jackson back.....1 problem.

Jonathan does not want to come back so it is really all for nothing.

So my question is this. Did CL want OUT? I read a long time ago that he
wanted this to be his last Highlander.

Yes he did but it is a moot point here. There is only Lance. No Consortium.
There was no meeting with DPP. Lance is a troll . The boycott will be by he,

Actually, this is not the first time Lance has done this since Debbie
"put down her foot", or "pulled out her whip", as the case may be, about
only 5 posts a day, and I thought she said that the first time they went
on a two-day time when they could not post, and the second they were off
the list... am I remembering that wrong?

Actually what I said that anyone who violated the rule would be put on
NOPOST for two days. Anyone who used a second email address to get
around the 5 post limit would be permanently barred from HIGHLA-L.

Lance is had been put on REVIEW for both Spoiler Rule violations and
      the exceeding the 5-post rule.

Yes he did but it is a moot point here. There is only Lance. No Consortium. There was no meeting with DPP. Lance is a troll . The boycott will be by he,
himself and he. So not to worry. All is well.

      LMAO!!

      Ok thanks for the update!!!

And 4 of them were sent in a span of less than 10 minutes.

Lance, have you ever heard of combining posts? These messages that you
seemed determined to send in response (repeating yourself ad
infinitum[sp?]) could very easily be combined into one message.

Well, I tried to reply to my own message and correct myself, but it seems
      it only "replied" back
to my address... don't know why it did that, but oh well...

I wanted to both apologize and correct myself (honest, Debbie, I tried
doing this *before* I got your message),
and say that I did go back and find Debbie's original post on the 5-post
rule, and that I had just gotten my
hopes up about the "second strike, you're out" rule I apparently made up in
      my own head...

It doesn't matter. Lance didn't like the movie's plot, so he has decided
to drive all the internet fans (on every HL forum, message board, and email
list) crazy. His ranting has absolutely no effect on TPTB (thank
goodness). But it drives us all nuckin futs!!

Why he decided to punish the fans because he didn't like the movie is
beyond me. Well... I do have an opinion on that, but I'll keep it to
      myself. <g>
