I don't know why more stories aren't coming to the list now, since in-between season seems to me like a great time for speculative stories. For example: I inquired about Joe Dawson's legs and was told that there is no canonical explanation _yet_ for why he needs a cane. But an episode dealing with Joe's past is supposedly in the works for next season, so I decided if I was going to put my own explanation in a story, I'd better hurry up before the new season starts. I also decided that for my story Joe would have only one artificial leg. So here it is. I've only seen four episodes so far, but I'm the alert type and I _think_ I managed to avoid tromping on established canon. If I'm wrong, tell me gently. If the story's lousy, be as harsh as you like.
