Quickenings? Just a thought. Did anyone also notice that Kell's head count was 666 when he faced DM? Devil boy? Oh, one other thing. Raven is showing in SA and Nick Wolfe became Immortal last night. Just thought I'd mention it. _ Yes, I did notice the 666 reference. I'm fairly new on the list, so I don't know if this was discussed by everyone here before or not. I thought it was a continuation of the "Revelation" theme in the series. I thought it was kind of funny. First DM defeats the 4 Horseman of the Appocolyps, then a demon and now the "beast" of Revelation. Or maybe Kell considered himself the antichrist. I had to watch the movie a couple of times before I was sure of the math. You were quick to catch it on one viewing. I also enjoyed the movie over all. I left saying, its so good to see HL again, but it could have been so much better. I also liked Raven fairly well. Unfortunately, the episode you saw with Nick becoming immortal is the last that was made! Unfortunately, the episode you saw with >Nick becoming immortal is the last that was made! Having not followed any Raven discussions (because it wasn't on here then, and I didn't bother to watch it when it did come on - something I now regret), I have to say that Raven was a pretty good attempt at a show going in a slightly different direction. I think that it would have improved had it gone to a second season. I remember getting quite into it in the ep when Nick chopped the one bad guy's head off. I mean, he had no idea that he was a pre-immie, and he knew what it meant, but he still did it. I would have liked to see how someone who becomes Immortal deals with it after having known about Immortals and even acted like one to a degree. TPTB never really did that to my satisfaction with Richie, and there was the added aspect that Nick didn't WANT to be Immortal. Just my 14 cents (due to the exchange rate). - Marina. \\ "Cast your eyes on the ocean; cast your soul ||>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> // //to the sea. I killed it months ago when there wasn't enough HL discussion to keep one list alive, let alone 2 (or 3 or 4 or 5). There is probably another somewhere. Certainly there are numerous other HL lists around - every splinter group has at least one. Plus there is alt.tv.highlander....... >Oh and you can talk about anything. So..this *isn't* a Highlander list you are planning to create? Just a general "chat" list? Birthday wishes, requests for prayers, name calling, new recipes for brownies, that weird TV show only one person saw, gossip about Adrian's new boyfriend..that kind of stuff? Or..is this going to be a HL list where you can also talk about anything else you want? Good luck <eg> I'm betting the traffic will be 97% non-HL and 3% bitching and moaning about something vaguely HL related.
