This was one of the numerous things that made me just shake my head and wonder who had been smoking what. It just *has* to be an "editing error" (Caveat: By "editing error" I mean an error by whomever was in charge of deciding which scenes go in which order and is not intended to defame "editors" per se.) Faith boinks Duncan and then returns to Kell and he says "you've been with him"- that's fine and dandy (not clever repartee but chronologically viable). Kell says "you've been with him" and *then* Faith goes off and boinks Duncan - stupid, stupid, stupid. Wasn't *anyone* in charge of actually *watching* this movie *before* they sent it off to be copied 100,000 times? DDP could have waited 2 more months to release the DVD (was anyone *that* desperate to own it?) and maybe...just maybe..gotten it *right*. Maybe it was too late (way too late) to actually create a plot and hire new actors <snicker> ..but they could have at least arranged the scenes they had in the "right" order. Is that really too much to ask? Cinescape mag is the latest to ding the pathetic mess of a theater release. (Current issue offhandedly calls it "underwhelming.") As was the placement of the Joe'sgothisgun scene. That MUST have been intended to happen during the MacLeod boys' rooftop spat. It's like the person creating the PCut was sweeping up the cutting room floor &, when he found a new scene of marginally usable quality, he just stuck it in--anyplace. >>>It just *has* to be an "editing error" (Caveat: By "editing error" I mean an error by whomever was in charge of deciding which scenes go in which order and is not intended to defame "editors" per se.)>>> Wimp. (Let's see--my will is made, pets have foster homes ready, I already ate the good Easter candy, there's no new HL to live for & even LFN is all gone....) >>>Wasn't *anyone* in charge of actually *watching* this movie *before* they sent it off to be copied 100,000 times? The blob-formerly-known-as-JVC-sign, for instance--finely crafted bit of FX? I think not. And the awful dubbing--they couldn't wait for AP to do his own??? Nina (glad you're back, Wendy--feared all that Raven had done you in; more Euros, please??? is the QoS discussion list as kaput as QoS?) geiger@maui.net ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Apr 2001 09:39:20 EDT From: Billie Lee <McCelt2000@aol.com> Subject: Re: NO SPOILERS; HL Endgame on AT&T Digital Cable Pay Per View In a message dated 4/25/01 12:18:18 AM !!!First Boot!!!, gerry@alanguilan.com writes: Me before--> >I thought the boxers had polka dots?????????? <GGG> > Then Gerry--> Ha! ha! You're right, of course. I suddenly remembered. That makes it even more hilarious then. :) LOL, Gerry!! You are so right, that one really tickled me, they, of course, couldn't leave it in the movie (but I suppose they could have will all the other mistakes that were made!!!), but it sure tickled my funny bone :>) Forever Peace, Billie-Lee mccelt2000@aol.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Apr 1973 15:38:29 -0500 From: Judith Schneider <judiths@CapAccess.org> Subject: Highlander merchandise Hi All, I was _really_ bored, so I went over to eBay. The HL store seems to be remaindering all its stuff and a Closeout Store is selling a lot of new merchandise on eBay. Just in case you don't have enough HL stuff and too much money or something ... <snerk> Judy, the Chocolate Slayer judiths@capaccess.org Waving a flag for the blue feather and a turbolight for Apollo "I never met a chocolate I didn't like"--Deanna Troi ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Apr 2001 20:07:43 EDT From: "Michele L. Gerard Butler is set to meet with Bond producers to discuss taking over the coveted role of Agent 007 from Pierce Brosnan, according to Scotland's Daily Record. It's not the whole thing. I'm not sure I know who this guy is but dagnabbit I want to see AP in that role!!!!
