I've got a few notes I need to share about my new story cycle. I _was_ planning on doing a cross-over for my next trick, but the entire cycle came to mind recently, pretty much mapped out, as I was re-reading what I've posted before. The first story takes place three months after the end of "Homecoming" (in other words, right now 8). However, while self-contained, each story _is_ part of a greater whole, hence the "Revenge and Rebirth" title. I know, several of you have pointed out that the first five were a cycle of sorts, but now I'm deliberately linking them, much in the way "Those Who Watch," "To Forgive Is Divine," and "Homecoming" were. Some things we've got to look foward to that are etched in stone and _will_ happen: One major villan who will appear in every story. Patrick's Kurgan or Kalas. Hints and details about Bernard's past. Some personal theories about Watchers. Connor, Duncan, and Methos will all appear. Development of Patrick's post-Harvard personal and professional life. Major development of Nancy's personal and professional life. Ditto for Rebecca. Yoshihiro Ammamoto, a minor character that was introduced in "Homecoming," emerging as a major character. Details about Patrick's life in China. And a climax that will leave no character untouched. This is an extreamily ambitious project that I hope you will all enjoy. It should be interesting to see where this takes all the characters, because though I've got a definate starting point and ending point as well as the mid-points I've outlined above, beyond that... these things can write themselves sometimes. Anyway, enough of my yappin'.
